Abstract: The present application provides a selective catalyst reduction system for use with a combustion gas stream. The selective catalyst reduction system may include a tempering air system with a finger mixer and a number of mixing boxes positioned downstream of the finger mixer and a catalyst positioned downstream of the tempering air system. The tempering air system cools the combustion gas stream and evens out the temperature profile before the combustion gas stream reaches the catalyst.

Abstract: A gas turbine engine has a compressor section including a lower pressure compressor and a higher pressure compressor, and a turbine section. A core engine housing surrounds the compressor section and the turbine section. An outer intermediate housing wall defines an internal chamber between the core housing and the outer intermediate housing. A fan rotor and a fan casing surround the fan rotor to define a bypass duct between the fan case and the outer intermediate housing. A heat exchanger is mounted in the internal chamber and receives high pressure air for cooling the high pressure air and delivering the high pressure air into the core engine housing to be utilized as cooling air for a component. Air from the lower pressure compressor is utilized to cool the higher pressure air in the heat exchanger.

Abstract: An airflow control system for a gas turbine according to an embodiment includes: an airflow generation system for attachment to a rotatable shaft of a gas turbine system, the airflow generation system drawing in an excess flow of air through an air intake section; a mixing area for receiving an exhaust gas stream of the gas turbine system; an air extraction system for: extracting at least a portion of the excess flow of air generated by the airflow generation system to provide bypass air; and diverting the bypass air into the mixing area to reduce a temperature of the exhaust gas stream; and an exhaust processing system for processing the reduced temperature exhaust gas stream.

Abstract: A power plant includes a compressor, a combustor downstream from the compressor and a turbine disposed downstream from the combustor. The compressor includes a compressor extraction port. The turbine includes a turbine extraction port that is in fluid communication with a hot gas path of the turbine and which provides a flow path for a stream of combustion gas to flow out of the turbine. An exhaust duct is disposed downstream from the turbine and receives exhaust gas from the turbine. A static mixer coupled to the turbine extraction port and to the compressor extraction port cools the stream of combustion gas upstream from the exhaust duct. The cooled combustion gas flows into the exhaust duct at a higher temperature than the exhaust gas and mixes with the exhaust gas within the exhaust duct to provide a heated exhaust gas mixture to a heat exchanger downstream from the exhaust duct.

The HEX may comprise a central manifold comprising an inlet portion, a first outlet portion, and a second outlet portion.
