摘要: Provided is a heat pump system having a compressor, a liquid-side on-off valve, a gas-side on-off valve, and a controller. The controller is configured to perform a refrigerant recovery operation for recovering refrigerant from a utilization-side piping section to a heatsource-side piping section by operating the compressor while the liquid-side on-off valve is closed and the gas-side on-off valve is open, and control the system such that the gas-side on-off valve starts closing when a predetermined valve-close condition is satisfied during the compressor is operating for recovering refrigerant, and such that the operation of the compressor for recovering refrigerant stops after the closing of the gas-side on-off valve started.

摘要: Methods and systems for leak detection in a fluid compression system using a purge system are disclosed herein. In an embodiment, a method for detecting leaks includes determining, during a period of vacuum, a purge exhaust rate of non-condensables from a purge system integrated with a chiller unit. The method includes determining a differential pressure, the differential pressure based on a vacuum side pressure of the chiller unit, where the vacuum side pressure includes at least one of a pressure of a condenser and pressure of an evaporator. The method includes calculating, via a controller, the purge exhaust rate and the differential pressure to identify a leak size based at least in part on the purge exhaust rate.

摘要: A diagnostic monitoring system and method is employed for one or more vapor compression systems such as air conditioners and heat pumps having a compressor, an indoor air handler fan coil and an outdoor condensor. Temperature, voltage and current sensors are provided at the outdoor condensor to determine that at least one vapor compression system is operating properly. Data obtained from the sensors is wirelessly transmitted to a receiving-device for use by the systems' custodian or repair service provider and includes information concerning an occurrence of periods when one or more of the vapor compression systems are operating at an abnormal state.

摘要: An indoor unit includes: a casing; a heat exchanger through which a flammable refrigerant flows; a fan; a detection sensor detecting a leak of the flammable refrigerant; a warning device emitting a warning about a leak of the flammable refrigerant; a control unit controlling operations of the fan and the warning device; and an operation device inputting stop commands for the fan and the warning device to the control unit based on its manual operation. Upon detection of a leak of the flammable refrigerant by the detection sensor, the control unit starts up the fan on condition that the fan is at a stop, starts up the warning device, disregards a stop command for the fan by the operation device, and permits a stop command for the warning device by the operation device. As a result, a user is enabled to arbitrarily stop a warning started based on occurrence of a refrigerant leak.

Also, airflow is formed by the blower in the case, and the refrigeration cycle components in which the refrigerant flows are arranged in the airflow in the case, and the electric part box and electric parts such as the motor of the blower are arranged upstream from the refrigeration cycle components in the airflow.
