Abstract:
Techniques for on demand business resource management are disclosed. In one particular exemplary embodiment, the techniques may be realized as a method for on demand business resource management including receiving, from a requester, a request via a network for a business resource. The method may further include authenticating the requestor, determining, using at least one computer processor, whether one or more available business resources match the request, providing an interactive graphical user interface indicating available business resources, wherein the interactive graphical user interface is configured to update the interactive graphical user interface to indicate available business resources meeting the business resource criteria, and displaying via the graphical user interface indications of one or more people associated with the available business resources. The method may also include receiving from the requester a reservation request for at least one of the available business resources, reserving the at least one available business resource.
Abstract:
A system includes definition of a time dimension as a formula exception aggregation reference dimension of a stock coverage measure, modification of filters of a demand measure to retrieve demand values outside a time filter of a cell, retrieval of individual values of the demand measure for each value of the time dimension, generation of a table comprising, for each value of a stock measure, values of the demand measure needed to calculate the stock coverage measure, and determination of the stock coverage measure based on the table and on the formula exception aggregation.
Abstract:
A method creates an electronically formatted schedule for imaging examinations. The method includes receiving a set of imaging examination orders, determining a protocol for each imaging examination order in the set of imaging examination orders, identifying an expected examination time duration of each of the protocols, and creating the electronically formatted schedule based on the expected examination time durations. A computing apparatus (102) includes an input device (110) that receives a set of imaging examination orders, an information extractor (202) that extracts information that determines a protocol of each imaging examination orders in the set, an expected examination duration identifier (206) that identifies an expected examination time duration of each of the protocols, and a schedule creator (220) that creates an electronically formatted schedule for the set of imaging examination orders based on the expected examination time durations.
Abstract:
Accessing an energy management policy for a plurality of devices is described, wherein the devices are coupled with a first structure. The energy usage of the devices is monitored. An energy usage rule and energy usage is then compared. The energy management policy and energy usage is also compared. Based on the comparing, an instruction is generated to modify an energy usage profile of said device to correlate with the energy usage rule associated with the devices and the energy management policy, thereby enabling efficient energy management.

Abstract:
Enterprise data can be accessed via a natural language user interface. In one embodiment, a mobile application can receive voice data and text data corresponding to the voice data. A conversion from voice to text can be performed by the mobile application or a third-party dictation service. Based on the text data, a command can be generated for use by a business analytics engine or by an enterprise search engine. In the case of the business analytics engine, it can perform analysis on the retrieved enterprise data, such as by applying business algorithms on the retrieved enterprise data in order to generate analytical results. In the case of the enterprise search engine, it can perform a search of enterprise data based on the command. In either case, results can be presented to the user on a user interface.
Abstract:
Information for a project, including financials and scheduling is stored as the single dataset, with budgeting information automatically integrated to the cash flow information, and with scheduling information automatically integrated to the cash flow information, and vice versa, through the single dataset from a single database to associate scheduled project phases. The single database, allows users to view the cash flow via multiple user interfaces extracted from the same core data, and therefore updates in one user interface can reflect across all user interfaces comprising budget, schedule and cash flow.
Abstract:
Apparatus, systems, and methods are described that can be used to generate an operating schedule for a controller of an energy storage asset that is in communication with a transport vehicle, based on an optimization process. The operating schedule is generated based on an operation characteristic of the energy storage asset, an energy-generating capacity of the transport vehicle in communication with the energy storage asset based on a motion of the transport vehicle, and a price associated with a market (including a regulation market and/or an energy market). Operation of the energy storage asset according to the generated operating schedule facilitates derivation of energy-related revenue, over a time period T. The energy-related revenue available to the energy customer over the time period T is based at least in part on the regulation market and/or the energy market.
Abstract:
A data processing system accesses a group of events to identify a group of types of events and aggregates at least some of the events into a group of items. Each of the events is aggregated by binding another event to an event identified as a particular type of event based on a correspondence between the event and the particular type of event and binding additional information to the event identified as the particular type of event based on a relationship between the additional information and the particular type of event. The data processing system also rendezvous one of the items with an event.
