摘要: A system automatically calculates drug infusion applicable to a patient to induce a satisfactory anesthetic state during surgery. The automatic calculation system would be determined by target values of physiological monitors to evaluate the patient's condition. Automatic infusion increases patient safety, reducing post-surgical morbidity and mortality, and reduces continuous decision-making by the specialist. An electronic system implements a MIMO-PID controller that calculates the infusion of various drugs on the basis of a control error defined by deviations in the patient's condition, which is analyzed by several monitors. The automatic drug infusions are determined by safety systems for preventing under and/or over infusion events and are complemented with correction and feedback systems.

摘要: An infusion system (10) including a radioisotope generator (52) that generates a radioactive eluate via an elution, an activity detector (58) configured to measure an activity of a first radioisotope in the radioactive eluate generated by the radioisotope generator, and a controller (80). The controller can track a cumulative volume of radioactive eluate generated by the radioisotope generator and also track the activity of the first radioisotope in the radioactive eluate generated by the radioisotope generator. The controller can determine a predicted volume of the radioactive eluate generated by the radioisotope generator at which the activity of the first radioisotope in the radioactive eluate will reach a threshold based on the tracked cumulative volume of the radioactive eluate and the tracked activity of the first radioisotope. This information can be useful for proactively removing the radioisotope generator from service and/or replacing the radioisotope generator with a fresh generator.

摘要: Micropump (10) including a support structure (14), a pump tube (16), and an actuation system (18) comprising one or more pump chamber actuators (28), the pump tube comprising a pump chamber portion (24) defining therein a pump chamber (26), an inlet portion (20) for inflow of fluid into the pump chamber, and an outlet portion (22) for outflow of fluid from the pump chamber. The inlet, outlet and pump chamber portions form part of a continuous section of tube made of a supple material. The one or more pump chamber actuators are configured to bias against the pump chamber portion to expel liquid contained in the pump chamber via the outlet portion, respectively to bias away from the pump chamber portion to allow liquid to enter the pump chamber via the inlet portion. The pump chamber portion has a cross-sectional area Ap in an expanded state that is larger than a cross-sectional area Ai of the pump tube at the inlet and outlet portions.

The contrast medium injection system includes at least one fluid injection flow path and an opening and blocking unit provided in the fluid injection flow path. The opening and blocking unit includes a generally cylindrical space and a spherical body disposed to be movable between a first end portion and a second end portion opposite to the first end portion in the generally cylindrical space. The spherical body blocks the fluid injection flow path when the spherical body is in close contact with the first end portion. The fluid injection flow path is opened when a state in which the spherical body is in close contact with the first end portion is released.-

摘要: An intravenous (IV) fluid delivery system include an IV bag and a fluid delivery device. The IV bag is made of many fluidic channels that keep the fluid distributed across the bag such that the bag may be easily and comfortably wrapped around the arm and shoulder of a person. At least some of the fluidic channels have a slanted shape to maximize emptying the contents of the IV bag as the fluid is injected to the patient's vein. The system includes a pump that moves the fluid into a tube and a needle that is connected to a person's vein. The processor repeatedly turns the pump on or off to gradually transfer the fluid from the IV bag into the person's vein. The processor controls the delivery of the fluid based on the patient's biometric data and/or hand movements as measured by the fluid delivery device.

摘要: A cloud big data-based system and method for insulin pump individualized configuration optimization are provided. The system includes an insulin pump, a real-time continuous glucose monitoring system, a smart phone, a glucose monitoring application software installed in the smart phone and a cloud big data server. By means of personal blood glucose measurement historical data of users stored in the cloud, the insulin pump individualized configuration optimization system provides effective calculation of an individualized optimal insulin injection volume and injection rate for each user, thus aiding physicians and patients to formulate diabetes treatment plans with increased effectiveness.
