    摘要: An apparatus for recording a video signal onto tracks of a recording tape includes circuitry for producing a first time-base reference signal which is a color burst signal composed of a first predetermined number of sinewave cycles and a second time-base reference signal which is a burst signal composed of a second predetermined number of sinewave signals. The second predetermined number of cycles is larger than the first predetermined number of cycles. The apparatus further includes superimposing circuitry for superimposing the first time base reference signal on an input video signal at intervals of a horizontal scanning period of the video signal and for superimposing the second time base reference signal on the input video signal at intervals of a predetermined number of horizontal scanning periods of the video signal. The apparatus further includes a modulator for modulating an output signal of the superimposing circuitry to obtain a modulated signal and a recording arrangement for recording the modulated signal onto the tracks of the recording tape.

    摘要: A signal processing apparatus for changing the frequency characteristics of an input signal, e.g.--a video or audio signal, allows a signal to pass through a transmission circuit in a positive time sequence and then, allows the signal to be transmitted through another transmission circuit having the same transmission characteristics in a reverse time sequence with respect to the positive time sequence. Also, while the transmission circuit is arranged to have a zero-phase characteristic, each segment of a continuous signal is processed throughout a period which is equal to at least two times a duration of an impulse response direction of the transmission circuit. Accordingly, unwanted wave errors appearing at discontinuous regions of the signals are eliminated.

    摘要: A frequency demodulation circuit superposes pulses on an input frequency-modulated (FM) signal at substantially the peaks of the FM signal before demodulating the FM signal so that zero cross points of the FM signal can be correctly restored. A peak detection circuit detects peaks of the FM signal or peaks of the fundamental wave of the FM signal, which substantially correspond to the peaks of the FM signal. A pulse generating circuit generates, from the peak detection result, pulses respectively occurring at the same timings as those of the detected peak occurrance timings. The generated pulses are added to the FM signal to obtain the pulse-superposed FM signal.

The apparatus comprises a first switching circuit for exchanging 2-channel component signals every nH period to obtain two combined signals each composed of the 2-channel signals which alternate every nH period, two modulators for modulating the two combined signals, a head section having two pairs of rotarty magnetic heads for recording the modulated signals on the magnetic tape so that each two adjacent blocks contain a same channel component signal and for reproducing the recorded signals from the magnetic tape, two demodulators for demodulating the reproduced signals, and a second switching circuit for exchanging the demodulated signals every nH to obtain the 2-channel component signals. With this arrangement, the recording density is remarkably increased and the cross talk interference hardly occur.

    摘要: A metal gasket for a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine comprises at least one narrow portion extending between cylinder bores of the cylinder head to be sealed by the gasket, and beads extending along circumferences of the cylinder bores. The adjacent beads extend in opposite directions with respect to the gasket, thereby enabling the adjacent beads to be smoothly and gently connected. Such smoothly connected beads prevent any cracks or permanent deformations in the proximity of the beads from occuring when the gasket is firmly clamped between the cylinder head and an engine body. Restoring faculty of the gasket is not lost after being clamped therebetween, so that the sealing capacity in the proximities of the beads is remarkably improved in comparison with the prior art.

    摘要: A magnetic reproducing apparatus which has a pair of main rotatable heads having different azimuth angles and a pair of auxiliary rotatable heads having different azimuth angles. When a magnetic tape is played back while it runs at a speed different from that at which it runs during a recording mode, playback output signals from the main and auxiliary rotatable heads are switched over to replace a reduction in the outputs from the main rotatable heads with the outputs from the auxiliary rotatable heads to produce a combined playback output signal. The combined playback output signal is passed through a variable delay line having a delay time varied by an output from a detector circuit which detects variations in horizontal synchronous signal intervals of the combined playback output signal. This varied delay time of the variable delay line can eliminate any skew distortions which would appear on a displayed image on the screen due to the variations in horizontal synchronous signal intervals of the combined playback output signal.

    摘要: A video signal processing apparatus has an input terminal for receiving an input video signal and a delay line for delaying the input video signal. A first transmission circuit processes the video signal which has been delayed by the delay line and a first timer reversal circuit reverses the time sequence of the input video signal during a predetermined time period. A second transmission circuit processes the time reversed signal from the first time reversal circuit and a second time reversal circuit reverses the time sequence of the signal processed by the second transmission circuit. An adder circuit adds the signal processed by the first transmission circuit and the time reversed signal from the second time reversed circuit. A control pulse generator produces a control pulse sequence which inverts its level every predetermined period so as to control the first and second time reversal circuits. The output of the adder circuit serves as the output signal processing apparatus.
