    摘要: A lens barrel holding apparatus includes a first holding member, a second holding member attached to the first holding member in an openable/closable manner for fastening a lens barrel in cooperation with the first holding member to hold the lens barrel and a fastening mechanism for applying a force for fastening the lens barrel, to the second holding member. The fastening mechanism includes an engagement surface provided on the second holding member and a fastening member provided on the first holding member, adapted to move straightly toward/away from the engagement surface, and having a contact surface that can be in contact with the engagement surface. At least one of the contact surface and the engagement surface is slanted with respect to the movement direction of the fastening member.

    摘要: A method of production of a dielectric ceramic composition having at least a main component of Ba2TiO3, a second subcomponent including at least one compound selected from SiO2, MO (where M is at least one element selected from Ba, Ca, Sr, and Mg), Li2O, and B2O3, and other subcomponents, comprising the step of: mixing in said main component at least part of other subcomponents except for said second subcomponent to prepare a pre-calcination powder, calcining the pre-calcination powder to prepare a calcined powder, and mixing at least said second subcomponent in said calcined powder to obtain the dielectric ceramic composition having molar ratios of the subcomponents to the main component of predetermined ratios. As the other subcomponents, there is a third subcomponent including at least one compound selected from V2O5, MoO3, and WO3. A ratio of the third subcomponent to 100 moles of the main component is preferably 0.01 to 0.1 mole.

    摘要: In conjunction with the manufacture of a multilayer ceramic capacitor having nickel-containing internal electrodes involving a polishing step for exposing the end of the internal electrodes, a non-reducible dielectric ceramic material is prepared, for the purpose of preventing the polishing step from being prolonged, by furnishing a calcined material containing a compound oxide represented by the formula (I): [(CaxSr1−x)O]m[(TiyZr1−y)O2] wherein 0≦x≦1, 0≦y≦0.10, and 0.75≦m≦1.04, as a main component, adding 0.001-10 mol % based on the main component of MgO or rare earth oxide and firing the mixture. The ceramic material contains predetermined amounts of SiO2 and BaO and/or CaO, and MnO as auxiliary components.

    摘要: A U-shaped bracket supports an elastomeric bush type vibration damping mount on a power unit (ICE plus transmission). The inner tubular member of the damper is mounted on the arms of the bracket by way of a bolt. First and second tubular piezoelectric/electrostrictive strain generating elements are symmetrically disposed about the bolt and housed within the inner tubular member of the mount. A control unit which is responsive to crank angle and engine speed, produces a AC current and applies the same to the first strain generating element. The phase of the same current is shifted by 90.degree. before being applied to the second strain generating element. The voltage and frequency of the AC current are selected in accordance with a predetermined schedule which is based on engine speed and crank angle and which enables the AC currents to be applied in a manner which generate vibrations which tend to negate the vibrations which are transmitted from the power unit to the bolt by way of the arms of the U-shaped bracket.
