摘要: A system for charging a plurality of vehicles parked in a parking area. The system includes an offboard vehicle control module configured to plan routes for each one of the plurality of vehicles in the parking area, and send drive instructions to an onboard control module of each one of the plurality of vehicles for driving the plurality of vehicles along the planned routes, the drive instructions including steering instructions, acceleration instructions, and brake instructions. A charging station management module is configured to execute a charging sequence for managing charging of the plurality of vehicles at a charging station, select a subject vehicle for charging from the plurality of vehicles according to the charging sequence, and send a charging notification to the offboard vehicle control module indicating that the subject vehicle has been selected for charging.

摘要: A method for making a battery can, for example, but not limited to, for a p-type prismatic cell may include: manufacturing at least one first battery can portion and at least one second battery can portion, using a first manufacturing process; joining the at least one first battery can portion and the at least one second battery can portion, using a second manufacturing process, different from the first manufacturing process; and inspecting the battery can to verify the joining between the at least one first portion and the at least one second portion. A method for making a battery can may include: providing at least one safety vent in a battery can and/or applying an insulation coating to one or more of an internal surface, an external surface and at least one seam of the battery can.

摘要: Presented are electrical interconnect board (ICB) assemblies with multilayer current collectors, methods for making/using such ICB assemblies, battery systems employing such ICB assemblies, and vehicles equipped with such ICB assemblies. An ICB assembly includes an electrically insulative ICB board frame that mounts to a battery case, an electrically conductive busbar assembly mounted to the board frame, and one or more end terminal assemblies mounted to the board frame adjacent opposing ends of the busbar assembly. The busbar assembly includes one or more busbar tracks that electrically interconnect a group of battery cells. Each end terminal assembly includes a bottom current collector plate that attaches to the ICB board frame and electrically connects to the battery cells and busbar track, a dielectric separator attached to the bottom current collector plate, and a top current collector plate attached to the dielectric separator and electrically connected to the bottom current collector plate.

摘要: A power supply system for a vehicle is provided. The power supply system includes a high-voltage battery pack having a plurality of batteries, a primary isolated converter connected to the high-voltage battery pack, and a plurality of distributed isolated converters, each of the plurality of distributed isolated converters being connected to one of the plurality of batteries. Each of the distributed isolated converters includes a primary stage configured to receive power from one of the plurality of batteries and an isolated stage configured to provide power to a low-voltage bus. The bias signals configured to control the operation of each of the plurality of distributed isolated converters are powered by the connected one of the plurality of batteries and activated based on an enable signal provided by the primary isolated converter.
