Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus for cable inspection, which inspects an aerial cable used in electric power transmission, the apparatus including: first and second plates spaced apart from each other; a lower clamp disposed on the first plate; an upper clamp disposed on the second plate to face the lower clamp and having a through hole in a vertical direction; a distance adjustment unit configured to adjust a separation distance between the first and second plates; an indenter indented in a coating of the cable through the through hole; a first load cell configured to measure an indentation force of the indenter and to output a signal corresponding to the measured indentation force; a second load cell disposed under the lower clamp and configured to measure pressure applied to the cable and to output a signal corresponding to the measured pressure; and an indenter moving unit configured to control movement of the indenter. According to the present invention, deterioration of a cable is measured using a plurality of sensors so that measurement accuracy can be improved and measurement of deterioration of the cable can be performed in a state in which the cable is disposed.

A method of preparing a ZnO nanowire, and a ZnO nanowire prepared by the method are provided. The method of preparing a ZnO nanowire includes: preparing a zinc chalcogenide solution by dissolving zinc chalcogenide in a solvent; applying the zinc chalcogenide solution onto a substrate; drying the zinc chalcogenide solution applied onto the substrate; and annealing the substrate in the presence of oxygen after the drying the zinc chalcogenide solution.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition comprising a material for inhibiting stem cell factor (SCF) or the receptor thereof for treating or preventing vascular permeability related diseases. Also, the present invention relates to a method for screening for an agent for treating vascular permeability related diseases, comprising the steps of: (a) treating a sample from a patient suspected of having a disease associated with vascular permeability with a candidate material; and (b) comparing the level of expression of the SCF or the receptor thereof with that of a control group. The present invention verifies SCF as a novel target for regulating vascular permeability. When the present invention is used, vascular permeability is decreased in diseases of the eye involving increased vascular permeability, thereby effectively treating or preventing vascular permeability related diseases. Also, vascular permeability can be effectively regulated using the composition. Further, the present invention can be provided as an effective means for screening an agent for treating vascular permeability related diseases by measuring the regulation of the expressions of SCF and c-Kit.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing diseases caused by vascular permeability, containing imatinib, which has been conventionally used as an agent for treating chronic myeloid leukemia, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient, and a method for treating disease caused by vascular permeability using the composition. The pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing diseases caused by vascular permeability of the present invention contains imatinib, which has been conventionally used as an agent for treating chronic myeloid leukemia, as an active ingredient, so as to provide a novel use of imatinib and to be able to effectively treat or prevent diseases caused by vascular permeability, and thus may be widely applied to develop a novel agent for treating diseases caused by vascular permeability.
Abstract:
Provided is a method of decoding a low-density parity-check code (LDPC). The decoding method including an initialization process, a check node update process, a variable node update process, a tentative decoding process, and a parity check process, for a plurality of check nodes and a plurality of variable nodes, further includes detecting at least one inactive variable nodes that do not require variable node update among the variable nodes, the variable node update process is performed only on active variable nodes except for the inactive variable node, and the check node update process is performed without using the inactive variable node.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a plasma for preventing or treating a cancer. Also, the present invention relates to a liquid type plasma for preventing or treating a cancer prepared by treating the plasma and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating a cancer comprising the same. The plasma and the liquid type plasma according to the present invention can effectively induce cancer cell death without a surgical operation or in a treatment process after a surgical operation, thereby being useful as a novel therapeutic agent and method for a cancer.

Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method for managing buffers of a device for Universal Serial Bus (USB) communication in a wireless environment. The method includes determining respective current data storage levels of transmit buffers that store different types of data for USB communication; comparing the respective current data storage levels of the transmit buffers with corresponding respective predetermined threshold levels; and controlling an input rate or output rate of a first transmit buffer if it is determined based on the comparison that the first transmit buffer has a current data storage level that exceeds a predetermined threshold level.
