    Abstract: Provided is a negative electrode plate. A negative electrode plate includes a negative current collector and a first coating layer arranged on a surface of the negative current collector. The negative electrode plate further includes a second coating layer arranged on a surface of the first coating layer. The first coating layer contains a negative electrode active material. The second coating layer contains a heat-resistant insulating material. The heat-resistant insulating material is selected from an oxide or a hydroxide containing at least one of elements selected from a group consisting of Mg, Si, Zr and Y. In the present application, the second coating layer containing the heat-resistant insulating material is coated on a surface of the conventional negative electrode active material layer, so an instantaneous high power discharge in a short circuit of the secondary battery can be avoided, and a safety performance of the battery can be improved.

    Abstract: The present application relates to a positive electrode plate and an electrochemical device. The positive electrode plate comprises a metal current collector, a positive active material layer and a safety coating disposed between the metal current collector and the positive active material layer, the safety coating comprising a polymer matrix, a conductive material and an inorganic filler wherein the polymer matrix is a fluorinated polyolefin and/or chlorinated polyolefin polymer matrix, wherein based on the total weight of the safety coating, the polymer matrix is present in a weight percentage of 35-75% by weight, the conductive material is present in a weight percentage of 5-25% by weight and the inorganic filler is present in a weight percentage of 10-60% by weight, and wherein the metal current collector has an elongation at break δ fulfilling 0.8%≤δ≤4%.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a battery cell, a battery, an electrical device, and a method and device for manufacturing a battery cell. The battery cell includes a shell, an electrode assembly and a current collecting member. The shell has a wall portion located at one end of the shell in a first direction. The electrode assembly is accommodated in the shell and provided with a tab. The current collecting member is accommodated in the shell, and is configured to be connected to the wall portion and the tab to implement an electrical connection between the wall portion and the tab. A protrusion is provided on a side of the current collecting member facing the wall portion, and the wall portion is provided with a recess configured to accommodate at least a part of the protrusion to position the current collecting member.
