Abstract:
The method for transmitting and receiving data at a base station in a wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of receiving a performance report from a terminal, determining whether the addition of a serving cell is necessary, when the addition of the serving cell is necessary, transmitting a request for receiving a cell identifying signal to one or more other base stations on the basis of the received performance repotand transmitting a request for transmitting the cell identifying signal to the terminal. According to the embodiment, in a network in which a small cell and a macro cell are overlapped and operated, the terminal can minimize battery consumption and quickly recognize the small cell.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses are provided for Channel State Information (CSI) feedback. An Uplink (UL) grant is received from a Node B. Information included in the UL grant is identified. If the information is mapped to at least one DownLink (DL) Component Carrier (CC) based on configuration information relating to at least one set including the at least one DL CC, at least one CSI corresponding to the at least one DL CC is generated. The generated at least one CSI is transmitted to the Node B.

A method according to disclosed aspects includes receiving a first control message including a first random access response window for a first cell group, receiving a second control message for adding a second cell group, including information on a second random access response window size for the second cell group, transmitting, on a cell of the second cell group, a random access preamble, and monitoring, on the cell of the second cell group, a random access response based on the second random access response window size for the second cell group.
Abstract:
The present invention proposes a method of processing a buffer state report when a wireless communication system uses inter-eNB carrier aggregation technology. According to the present invention, a terminal may be provided with a proper amount of uplink resource allocations by notifying base stations of a buffer state.
Abstract:
A device and method for handling HARQ feedback in a mobile communication system are disclosed. The HARQ feedback handling method includes: analyzing a control message from a base station to recognize presence of HARQ feedback relationships between downlink carriers and uplink carriers; determining an uplink carrier (a downlink carrier) to support HARQ feedback in response to downlink traffic (uplink traffic) sent through a downlink carrier (an uplink carrier); and sending (receiving) HARQ feedback through the determined uplink carrier (downlink carrier).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for processing reverse transmission resources of a user terminal in a mobile communication system. When receiving a plurality of grants, the method and apparatus sum resources allocated by the grants, distribute the summed resources to logical channels, map the resources distributed by the logical channels and the logical channels to MAC PDUs according to the data sizes of the MAC PDUs, and allocate the resources distributed by the mapped logical channels.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for performing random access and uplink transmission of a User Equipment (UE) supporting Carrier Aggregation (CA) are provided. The method includes determining whether a Scheduling Request (SR) is pending, determining, when the SR is pending, whether an uplink transmission resource is available in a current Transmission Time Interval (TTI), determining, when the uplink transmission resource is not available, whether a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) resource is configured for transmission of the SR, and initiating, when the PUCCH resource is not configured, a random access process in a primary cell. The random access method and apparatus of the present invention is advantageous to reduce the waste of transmission resources.
Abstract:
A transmission control method for HARQ is provided for improving HARQ performance in a mobile communication system. The transmission control method for Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ) in a mobile communication system according to the present invention includes receiving an downlink resource assignment message; determining whether configured downlink assignment has been indicated to an HARQ entity since a previously received downlink assignment for a User Equipment's (UE's) Cell-Radio Network Temporary Identifier (C-RNTI) for the same HARQ process; maintaining, if the configured downlink assignment has not been indicated to the HARQ entity, the HARQ process; and processing, if the configured downlink assignment has been indicated to the HARQ entity, the downlink resource assignment message as a resource assignment message for initial transmission.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for performing a discontinuous reception (DRX) operation while transceiving data using a plurality of carriers in a mobile communication system. The communication method for a terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving a control message, including setting information of a secondary serving cell (SCell) to be added and discontinuous reception setting information, from a primary serving cell (PCell); and applying, if the control message includes an indicator indicating that the first base station to which the SCell to be added belongs and the second base station to which the PCell belongs are different from each other, the DRX setting information to the serving cell of a first base station. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a discontinuous reception (DRX) operation is applied upon the occurrence of inter-base-station carrier aggregation, thus reducing the consumption of a battery.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for a user equipment receiving MBMS service processing a semi-permanent scheduling from an MBSFN subframe. A method for a user equipment receiving the multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) processing a downlink scheduling in a mobile communication system of the present invention comprises: a detection step of detecting the occurrence of the downlink scheduling in a random transmission time interval; a decision step of deciding whether to process the downlink scheduling, depending on whether the user equipment is set to a transmission mode 9 or whether the transmission time interval belongs to a multimedia broadcast multicast service single frequency network (MBSFN) subframe; and a processing step of processing or disregarding the downlink scheduling based on the result of the decision.
