    摘要: A bidirectional signal conversion circuit is configured to perform a signal conversion between a first port and a second port, and includes a switch, a first pull-up resistor, a second pull-up resistor, a first output-response enhancement circuit, and a second output-response enhancement circuit. The switch is coupled between the first port and the second port, and operates according to a bias. The first (second) pull-up resistor is coupled between the first (second) port and a high (low) voltage terminal having a high (low) voltage. The first (second) output-response enhancement circuit includes a first (second) alternative-current (AC) coupling circuit and a first (second) output-stage circuit. When the first (second) port and the second (first) port functions as an input port and an output port respectively, the first (second) output-response enhancement circuit is operable to accelerate the transient response of the output port.

    摘要: What is presented is a control device for a multi-voltage on-board electrical system of a vehicle, wherein the multi-voltage on-board electrical system has a first electrical subsystem, which is configured to be operated with a first supply voltage from a first voltage supply source, and a second electrical subsystem, which is configured to be operated with a second supply voltage from a second voltage supply source. The control device comprises: a transceiver, which is connected to ground via a first ground terminal of the first electrical subsystem and which is configured for communicating with a communication component of the first electrical subsystem; a control unit, which is connected to the same ground via a second ground terminal of the second electrical subsystem and which is configured for controlling a power component of the second electrical subsystem; a transmission path, which couples a signal output of the control unit to a signal input of the transceiver, wherein the transmission path is configured for transmitting a control signal provided by the control unit at the signal output towards the signal input of the transceiver; a diode arranged in the transmission path, the cathode terminal of said diode being coupled to the second ground terminal. Provision is furthermore made of a number of field effect transistors, wherein the number of field effect transistors on the one hand couples the transmission path to the first voltage supply source and/or to the second voltage supply source and on the other hand couples said transmission path to the first ground terminal and/or to the second ground terminal.

    摘要: An input/output (IO) circuit is provided that reduces stress on a driver without using an additional reference voltage. The IO circuit receives an overshoot voltage and an undershoot voltage in a receive mode. The IO circuit includes a driver circuit. The driver circuit includes an NMOS transistor coupled to a PMOS transistor. A pad is coupled to the driver circuit. A PMOS protect circuit is coupled to the driver circuit and the pad. An NMOS protect circuit is coupled to the driver circuit and the pad. The NMOS protect circuit is configured to be activated only for a duration of the overshoot voltage received at the pad during the receive mode and the PMOS protect circuit is configured to be activated only for a duration of the undershoot voltage received at the pad during the receive mode.

    摘要: A semiconductor device includes a first semiconductor chip operating at a first power supply voltage and a second semiconductor chip operating at a second power supply voltage lower than the first power supply voltage to supply the second power supply voltage to the first semiconductor chip. The semiconductor chips according to the present invention are conveniently used for fabrication of the semiconductor device. The first semiconductor chip includes an output circuit including a first transistor and a second transistor, interconnected in series and turned on or off complementarily. The output circuit outputs a signal to a first external output terminal. The first semiconductor chip also includes a third transistor connected in series with the first and second transistors and having a gate electrode connected to a second output terminal. The entire chip area is reduced, as compared with the case where plural semiconductor chips, operated at different operating voltages, are interconnected and used as such in a semiconductor device provided with an input/output buffer operating at a voltage different from the respective operating voltages resulting in an increased chip area.
