Abstract: A manufacturing method includes a joining step of abutting and joining an end surface of a tube main body and a projecting portion of a head member by frictional welding in a state in which a through hole of the tube main body and the projecting portion of the head member are fitted with a fitting clearance. In the joining step, flow material which is practically flowed from an end surface of the tube main body and the flange portion of the head member is filled in the fitting clearance from the root side until the tip portion is located within the range in the direction of the rotation axis, thereby joining between a non-contact portion and the tube main body and between an inclined inner peripheral surface of the tube main body and an outer peripheral surface of the projecting portion by the flow material.

Abstract: Press-fitting the bus-bar into the connection terminal while improving reliability.
In the rotary electric machine, the connection terminal comprises a terminal fixing portion fixed to the circuit board and held by the terminal holder, and a terminal connection portion arranged on the other side in the first direction with respect to the terminal fixing portion and for press-fitting the bus-bar. The terminal connection portion is arranged separately from the circuit board on the lower side. In the connection terminal, the connecting portion connecting the terminal fixing portion and the terminal connection portion is configured to be bendable and deformable vertically. This allows the terminal connection portion to be displaced when a press-fitting load above predetermined value is input to the terminal connection portion. Thus, since the press-fitting load is used as a load that bends and deforms the connecting portion, the load transmitted to the terminal fixing portion is reducible.-

Abstract: A shock absorber includes a hard side damping element that imparts a resistance to a flow of liquid moving between an extension side chamber and a compression side chamber, a solenoid valve configured to change an aperture area of a bypass passage that bypasses the hard side damping element and communicates with the extension side chamber and the compression side chamber, a soft side damping element provided in series with the solenoid valve in the bypass passage, and a tank connected to the compression side chamber. The hard side damping element includes an orifice and leaf valves provided in parallel with the orifice. The soft side damping element includes an orifice having a larger aperture area than the orifice.

Abstract: A suspension device includes a leaf spring and a buffer. The leaf spring applies an elastic force for relatively moving an unsprung member in a predetermined direction with respect to a body (sprung member) of a vehicle. The buffer includes a first expansion/contraction member, a second expansion/contraction member, an intermediate member, and a damping passage. The first and second expansion/contraction members form first and second gas chambers filled with gas therein and are expandable and contractible. An upper end and a lower end of the first and second expansion/contraction members are connected to the body. The intermediate member couples the first and second expansion/contraction members and is connected to the leaf spring. The damping passage allows the first and second gas chambers to communicate with each other, and applies resistance to flow of flowing gas. When one of the first and second expansion/contraction members expands, the other contracts.
