    摘要: A content distribution method distributes a package containing a content from a content distribution apparatus to a terminal of a content distribution destination and causes the terminal to expand and display the content contained in the distributed package by using expansion software provided in the terminal. Update data of the expansion software is inserted in the package in addition to the content. When the terminal cannot expand the content by using the expansion software provided in it, the terminal updates the expansion software provided in it by using the update data contained in the distributed package and expands the content by using the updated expansion software.

    摘要: A monolithic double-wavelength semiconductor laser diode is provided in a DVD/CD compatible player to suppress deterioration in the optical characteristics of a reading light spot. A laser diode is a monolithic element which has two light emitting points on a single substrate for emitting two different laser beams having different wavelengths with each other. A central line of a main laser beam for use in reproducing DVDs is positioned closer to the optical axis Y of an optical system than a central line of a laser beam for use in reproducing CDs. In another arrangement, the central line of a main laser beam for use in reproducing DVDs is positioned so as to be coincident with the optical axis Y of the optical system.

    摘要: The sealing of the top and/or bottom of the cylindrical positive electrode of an air-cell is improved and leakage of the electrolyte from the jellied zinc negative electrode disposed within the positive electrode which is constituted of a collector layer, catalyst layer, and a porous layer is prevented. By utilizing a positive electrode constituted of a metallic collector layer made of a metal mesh or such, a catalyst layer disposed around said collector, and a fluororesin porous layer as an air diffusion layer, an outer cup and an inner cup are pressed on the top of the positive electrode in order to prevent the leakage of the electrolyte. The possible leakage of electrolyte from the bottom of the positive electrode can be prevented by providing a resin sealing body with a ring shaped indentation fitted to the bottom of a positive electrode, and by inserting this resin sealing body into the positive electrode cannister, and by pressing the side wall of the positive electrode cannister against the side of the resin sealing body, in order to fit the bottom of the positive electrode to the indentation of the resin sealing body.
