Abstract: Transparent conductors with nanowires having silver oxide complexes and methods for fabricating such transparent conductors are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, a transparent conductor comprises a substrate and a transparent conductive coating disposed overlying the substrate. Abstract: A conditioned vestibule, control system, and method are disclosed for use with a cold storage doorway that separates warm and cold sides. A heater warms an air stream discharged across the doorway by the vestibule. A control unit operates the heater to maintain an air stream temperature. The control unit continuously monitors the air stream temperature and operates the heater to maintain the air stream temperature in a non-saturated state based on a humidity ratio. One embodiment calculates first and second temperatures based, respectively, warm and cold side tangent lines to a psychrometric saturation curve and based on the humidity ratio. The tangent lines are based on humidity and temperature sensed on the warm and cold sides. The air stream is warmed to at least the greater of the first and second temperatures. One embodiment controls air flow to adjust the humidity ratio to more efficiently operate the vestibule.

Abstract: Wet wipe products are made from continuous wet wiping web material having thermoplastic fibers of type, concentration and dispersion capable of being heat-set to set the overall web material in a reformed shape. A succession of ridges and grooves is formed by passing the performed material through a dry creper apparatus in absence of adhesives, the action characterized by pressing the material with a stationary pressing surface to engage an advancing drive surface, the driven material bodily collapsing into a succession of adjacent ridges and grooves that increase the volume of the material. The wet wiping material is heat set in the ridge and groove configuration, enabling the ridge and groove configuration to be preserved when the wet wiping material is wetted and when squeezed and released. The self-storing ridge and groove configuration provides stress concentrating edges and improves liquid delivery and wet wiping in a number of respects.

Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for distributing air in a blade server are disclosed. Embodiments may include a rotating damper having a damper door, sliding door, and connecting rod. The damper door may be rotatably attached to a blade server having a plurality of blade slots for receiving blades and may rotate between a blocking position and a flat position, where the damper door impedes air through a blade slot when in the blocking position. The sliding door may move between an open position and a closed position, where the sliding door allows airflow through an air opening while in the open position and blocks airflow through the air opening while in the closed position. A further embodiment may include an extension spring to apply a pulling force to the sliding door and a kick up spring to apply a pushing force to the damper door in the flat position.

Abstract: Age-related macular degeneration is treated by radiation delivered from a miniature x-ray tube inserted via a catheter around the globe of the eye, to a position behind the macula. The process can employ an applicator with several parallel guides, inserted around the eye to receive the catheter with x-ray tube (or an isotope) at a matrix of different positions. Methods are described for properly locating the catheter and x-ray tube, using illumination on the catheter and viewing through the front of the eye, or sensors on the catheter and a scanned beam shone from the front of the eye. Fluorescent material excited by x-rays can also be used. Also described are methods and devices for immobilizing the probe once properly located in the eye, for standoff of the x-ray tube from the target tissue, and for achieving prescription radiation dose in the choroid while eliminating dose to adjacent tissues. The x-ray treatment can be enhanced using a radiosensitizing drug, and can be combined with PDT.
