摘要： A detection device includes a pressure sensor, which provides a pressure signal indicative of an ambient pressure in an operating environment. An electrostatic-charge-variation sensor provides a charge-variation signal indicative of a variation of electrostatic charge associated with the operating environment, and processing circuitry is coupled to the pressure sensor and to the electrostatic-charge-variation sensor so as to receive the pressure signal and the charge-variation signal, and jointly processes the pressure signal and the charge-variation signal for detecting a variation between a first operating environment and a second operating environment for the detection device. The second operating environment is different from the first operating environment.

摘要： In an embodiment a processing system includes a sub-circuit including a three-state driver circuit, wherein the three-state driver circuit has a combinational logic circuit configured to monitor logic levels of a first signal and a second signal, and selectively activate one of the following switching states as a function of the logic levels of the first signal and the second signal: in a first switching state, connect the transmission terminal to the positive supply terminal by closing the first electronic switch, in a second switching state, connect the transmission terminal to the negative supply terminal by closing the second electronic switch, and in a third switching state, put the transmission terminal in a high-impedance state by opening the first electronic switch and the second electronic switch.

摘要： The present disclosure is directed to a device and method for generating and transmitting a TDM signal including both raw data and processed data. The device includes a sensor having a time division multiplexing (TDM) interface. The TDM interface transmits both raw data and processed data in a single TDM signal by reserving one or more slots inside a TDM frame for transmission of the processed data. The sensor also embeds additional information inside a data stream of raw data by repurposing one or more of values of the raw data as an exception code, flag, or another type of notification. The device is also enabled to transmit data, and disabled when not in use in order to conserve power.

摘要： A phase-change memory device column decoder is divided into two portions that can be governed independently of one another, and the driving signals of the two portions are configured so as to guarantee comparable capacitive loads at the two inputs of a sense amplifier in both of the operations of single-ended reading and double-ended reading. In particular, during single-ended reading, the sense amplifier has a first input that receives a capacitive load corresponding to the direct memory cell selected, and a second input that receives a capacitive load associated to a non-selected complementary memory cell.

摘要： A system for determining a fly height includes a first head of a disk drive, a second head of the disk drive, a capacitive sensor circuit coupled to the first head and the second head, and a logic device coupled to the capacitive sensor circuit. The capacitive sensor circuit is configured to measure a first capacitance between the first head and the first disk, remove noise from the first capacitance using a second capacitance between the second head and the second disk, and based thereon determine a corrected first capacitance. The device determines whether the device is in a bag or being taken out of the bag based on motion measurements generated by a motion sensor and electrostatic charge measurements generated by an electrostatic charge sensor. 摘要： An optical module includes an optical detector, laser emitter, and first and second support structures, each carried by a substrate. An optical layer includes first and second fixed portions carried by the support structures, a movable portion affixed between the fixed portions by a spring structure, and a lens system carried by the movable portion, the lens system including an objective lens and a beam shaping lens. The optical layer includes a comb drive with a first comb structure extending from the first fixed portion to interdigitate with a second comb structure extending from the movable portion, a third comb structure extending from the second fixed portion to interdigitate with a fourth comb structure extending from the movable portion, and actuation circuitry applying voltages to the comb structures to cause the movable portion of the optical layer to oscillate back and forth between the fixed portions.
