    摘要: A first resistive film is arranged such that one edge thereof is connected to a first terminal, and an edge that is opposite to the aforementioned edge is connected to a second terminal. A second resistive film is arranged with a gap between it and the first resistive film such that one edge thereof is connected to a third terminal. A voltage generating unit applies a predetermined first bias voltage and a predetermined second bias voltage to the first terminal and the second terminal, respectively. A voltage detection unit detects a panel voltage that occurs at the third terminal. A current detection unit detects a panel current that flows through a path including the first terminal, the first resistive film, and the second terminal. A computation unit determines the coordinates touched by the user, based upon the values of the panel voltage and the panel current.

    摘要: Disclosed is a method for predicting about the carcinogenicity of a substance of interest in a rodent, which comprises the steps of: administering a solution of the substance to a test group and administering a solvent used in the solution to a control group; extracting mRNA from each of the test group and the control group, and measuring the expression level of mRNA for each of genes obtained by selecting at least one gene from (A) genes each comprising a nucleotide sequence depicted in any one of SEQ ID NOs: 1 to 5, (B) genes each comprising a nucleotide sequence depicted in any one of SEQ ID NOs: 6 to 8 and (C) genes each comprising a nucleotide sequence depicted in any one of SEQ ID NOs: 9 to 32; determining whether or not a significant difference in the level of mRNA expressed from the gene is observed between the test group and the control group; and determining that the substance has carcinogenicity when a significant difference in the level of the expression of mRNA from any one of the genes is observed between the test group and the control group and the direction of increase or decrease in the level of the expression of mRNA from any one of the genes is the same as the tendency which is previously defined for each gene.

    摘要: Multiple sensor capacitors Cd are respectively assigned to multiple buttons B1 through B3. Each of the multiple sensor capacitors is assigned to one of the multiple channels. A capacitance detection unit detects the combined capacitance of the sensor capacitors each of which is assigned to the corresponding one of the multiple channels. A comparison unit compares the combined capacitance detected by the capacitance detection unit for each channel with a predetermined threshold value, and converts the comparison results into binary digital signals in increment of channels. A decoder decodes the binary digital signals output in increments of channels from the comparison unit, and judges whether each switch is in the ON state or the OFF state.
