Abstract:
A method of producing a light emitting apparatus including a light emitting element, a light emitting element housing having a recess for housing the light emitting element, and a translucent substrate placed on the light emitting element housing is disclosed. The disclosed method includes a fluorescent-substance-containing resin forming step of forming a fluorescent-substance-containing resin on a first side of the translucent substrate which first side is opposite to a second side of the translucent substrate which second side faces the recess. In the fluorescent-substance-containing resin forming step, luminance and chromaticity of light that is emitted from the light emitting element and then transmitted by the fluorescent-substance-containing resin are measured and a thickness of the fluorescent-substance-containing resin is adjusted based on the measured luminance and chromaticity so that light emitted from the light emitting apparatus attains the specified luminance and chromaticity.

Abstract:
A first storage system includes a first storage area for storing data written by a computer. A second storage system includes a second storage area to which the data stored in the first storage area migrates. A third storage system includes a virtual storage area corresponding to the second storage area. An access request to the virtual storage area is converted into an access request to the second storage area to be issued. A management computer transmits, to the third storage system, an instruction to migrate the data of the second storage area to a third storage area of the third storage system based on a determination result between a value of the data migrated to the second storage area and a predetermined threshold value.
Abstract:
Proposed is an operation method for seeking a power interruption operation target in which MTBF will become longest. When a target value regarding a power interruption time and a target value regarding a power interruption count per 24 hours is input from an administrator to a management computer, the management computer calculates the MTBF after one year and the annual power consumption for each of the input target values, and, as a power interruption operation target in which the MTBF will become longest in one year, a target value regarding a power interruption time and a target value regarding a power interruption count are respectively selected among multiple target values in which the MTBF will become longest based on each of the calculation results, and displayed on a screen of an output unit.
Abstract:
Provided is a computer system including a first storage subsystem and a second storage subsystem. The first storage subsystem has a first storage unit and a first control unit. The second storage subsystem has a second storage unit and a second control unit. The first control unit records journals, and identifies, when data stored in the first storage unit is to be migrated to the second storage unit, which ones of the recorded journals are related to the data that is to be migrated. The first control unit chooses the identified journals one at a time in reverse chronological order, and judges whether or not the chosen journal corresponds to a data update made at some point between a current time and a time that precedes the current time by a length of a journal retention term set for the second storage subsystem.
Abstract:
An interposer includes a substrate made of an inorganic material; a through wiring including conductors embedded in through holes; and an upper wiring and (or)a lower wiring. The through wiring, the upper wiring and the lower wiring are respectively formed on preliminary wiring patterns that are additionally simultaneously or sequentially formed on layers made of an insulating material applied to at least wiring forming parts of the substrate, and are formed with a metal mold itself used for forming the preliminary wiring patterns or layers made of a wiring material applied by a printing operation, a plating operation or a deposition on the preliminary wiring patterns formed on the layers of the insulating material by transferring a fine structure pattern of the metal mold.
Abstract:

Abstract:
There is provided a computer system comprising a first storage system and a second storage system coupled to the first storage system. The first storage system provides a first storage area. The second storage system provides a second storage area. The second storage system reads and writes the requested data from and to the first storage area associated with the second storage area; specifies the first storage area associated with the second storage area from which the data is to be erased upon reception of a request for erasing the data stored in the second storage area; and transmits the request for erasing the data to the first storage system providing the specified first storage area. The first storage system erases the data stored in the specified first storage area, based on a data erasure condition included in the request for erasing the data.
