    摘要: The latch includes a ratchet and pawl operable to move between an engaged position to hold a striker and a released position to permit the striker from exiting the latch. In addition, a release lever and a lock lever are pivotally mounted to the opposite surface of the latch housing. A lock link lever connects the release lever to the lock lever, having a first end pivotally mounted to the lock lever and a second end slidably located in a slot on the release lever. Actuating the release lever while the second end of the lock link lever is in its locked position pivots the lock link lever in a first arc and actuating the release lever while the lock link lever is in its unlocked position pivots the lock link lever in a second arc to actuate the pawl into its released position.

    摘要: The invention is directed to an electric swing plug door operator with a remotely powered auxiliary lock mechanism, door striker, catch and manual release system for use on light to medium duty shuttle or utility vehicles. The swing plug door system includes a door operator and base plate assembly, a shaft and arm assembly, a guide rod assembly, a lower shaft pivot, a door panel with a leading edge catch and lock striker assembly, an auxiliary lock and a manual release cable. The auxiliary lock assembly includes a lock bar engaging the lock striker mounted to the trailing edge of the door panel when the door reaches the fully closed position. The door operator includes a manual release lever and gear motor subassembly to drive the door system linkage and to manually disengage the door linkage and lock assembly to gain manual egress from the vehicle.

    摘要: A power latch assembly for a motor vehicle includes a pawl moveable from a ratchet holding position, whereat a ratchet is maintained in a striker capture position, whereat the ratchet is in latched engagement with a striker to maintain a closure panel in a closed position, to a ratchet releasing position, whereat the ratchet is moved to a striker release position out of latched engagement from the striker to allow the closure panel to be moved from the closed position to the open position. Further included is a power release actuator arranged to move a power release gear in a first direction from a rest position, whereat the pawl is in the ratchet holding position, to a first release actuated position, whereat the pawl is moved to the ratchet releasing position, and to move the power release gear from the first release actuated position in the first direction to a first reset actuated position, whereat the pawl is free to return to the ratchet holding position.
