    Abstract: According to examples, a wet part composed of fibers may be removed from a slurry of the fibers on a forming screen having pores, the wet part having a first surface in contact with the forming screen. A second surface of the wet part may be pulled away from the first surface of the wet part while a suction force is applied onto the first surface through the pores in the forming screen to cause a density at which the fibers are arranged in the wet part to be decreased. In addition, following a predefined length of time after initiation of the pulling of the second surface away from the first surface, the wet part may be removed from the forming screen, in which an article formed from the wet part is to function as a filter following the wet part being dried.

    Abstract: An example apparatus for determining dryness of an agent on print media includes an infrared prism, a source of infrared radiation to direct infrared radiation into the infrared prism, and a detector. The infrared prism includes a surface, the surface having an outer side to contact a portion of the agent on the print media, the infrared prism having a refractive index that is higher than a refractive index of the agent. The source of infrared radiation is to direct infrared radiation into the infrared prism and onto an inner side of the surface. The detector is to generate a signal based on infrared radiation reflected by the inner side of the surface to indicate the dryness of the portion of the agent.

    Abstract: Example approaches for customization of thermal and power policies in computers, are described. In an example, a microcontroller of a computing system, also referred to as system, validates thermal policy custom data stored in a firmware storage medium of the system, in response to a supply of power to the system. On a successful validation of the thermal policy custom data, thermal control settings is updated with a customized thermal policy included in the thermal policy custom data. In response to initiation of a boot operation of the system, a processor of the system validates power policy custom data stored in the firmware storage medium. In response to a successful validation of the power policy custom data during the boot operation, the processor updates power control settings of the system with a customized power policy included in the power policy custom data.

    Abstract: A printer valve assembly including a plurality of valves. Each of the valves is actuated between an open state which permits fluid flow though the valve and a closed state which prevents fluid flow though the valve. The plurality of valves includes a first feed valve, a first return valve, a waste valve and a purge valve. The first feed valve controls flow between a source of first print fluid and a feed line to a print head. The first return valve controls flow between a return line from a print head and a source of first print fluid. The waste valve controls flow between a return line from a print head to a waste receiver. The purge valve controls flow between a source of purge fluid and a feed line. The printer valve assembly further includes a valve control member which is mechanically connected to the valves to simultaneously control the state of the valves based on a position of the valve control member.

    Abstract: An apparatus, machine-readable instructions and a system to provision partial signing keys to approver devices are provided. A first plurality of partial signing keys is provisioned to a set of first approver devices. A request to execute a command is received and forwarded to multiple ones of the first approver devices. Responsive to the forwarded request, a threshold number of distinct partial signatures are received indicating approval for execution of the command, the approval being verifiable by combining of the threshold number of different partial signatures to generate a complete signature. The apparatus provisions a further partial signing key to a further approver device subsequent to execution of the approved command.
