Abstract: An image formation device includes a support, a fluid ejection device, and a first porous element. The support is to support movement of a substrate along a travel path, while the fluid ejection device is located along the travel path to deposit droplets of ink particles within a liquid carrier onto the substrate to at least partially form an image on the substrate. The first porous element is located downstream along the travel path from the fluid ejection device to be in contact against the substrate to remove, via electroosmotic flow through the first porous element, at least a portion of the liquid carrier from the substrate.

Abstract: In an example 3D printing method, an electrical conductivity value for a resistor is identified. Based upon the identified electrical conductivity value, a predetermined amount of a conductive agent is selectively applied to at least a portion of a build material layer in order to introduce a predetermined volume percentage of a conductive material to the resistor. Based upon the identified electrical conductivity value and the predetermined volume percent of the conductive material, a predetermined amount of a resistive agent is selectively applied to the at least a portion of the build material layer in order to introduce a predetermined volume percentage of a resistive material to the resistor. The build material layer is exposed to electromagnetic radiation, whereby the at least the portion coalesces to form a layer of the resistor.

Abstract: According to examples, a wet part composed of fibers may be removed from a slurry of the fibers on a forming screen having pores, the wet part having a first surface in contact with the forming screen. A second surface of the wet part may be pulled away from the first surface of the wet part while a suction force is applied onto the first surface through the pores in the forming screen to cause a density at which the fibers are arranged in the wet part to be decreased. In addition, following a predefined length of time after initiation of the pulling of the second surface away from the first surface, the wet part may be removed from the forming screen, in which an article formed from the wet part is to function as a filter following the wet part being dried.

Abstract: An example apparatus for determining dryness of an agent on print media includes an infrared prism, a source of infrared radiation to direct infrared radiation into the infrared prism, and a detector. Abstract: Example approaches for customization of thermal and power policies in computers, are described. In an example, a microcontroller of a computing system, also referred to as system, validates thermal policy custom data stored in a firmware storage medium of the system, in response to a supply of power to the system. Abstract: A printer valve assembly including a plurality of valves. Each of the valves is actuated between an open state which permits fluid flow though the valve and a closed state which prevents fluid flow though the valve. Abstract: An apparatus, machine-readable instructions and a system to provision partial signing keys to approver devices are provided. A first plurality of partial signing keys is provisioned to a set of first approver devices. A request to execute a command is received and forwarded to multiple ones of the first approver devices. Responsive to the forwarded request, a threshold number of distinct partial signatures are received indicating approval for execution of the command, the approval being verifiable by combining of the threshold number of different partial signatures to generate a complete signature. The apparatus provisions a further partial signing key to a further approver device subsequent to execution of the approved command.
