Abstract: A pickup truck bed cover includes foldable horizontal sections retained on a mounting frame by left and right latches attached under the sections. The latches mounting plates, left and right locks, and left and right operating mechanisms. The operating mechanisms are connected to the locks to pull the locks into disengagement with the mounting frame allowing the sections to be folded. Connecting members connect the operating mechanisms. When a handle of one of the operating mechanism is being twisted, both the left and right locking blocks are simultaneously retract to disengage with the mounting frame. When the handle is released, the left and right locks extend to engage the mounting frame. The rotation of the handles may be coupled to the locks by sliding cylinders having spiral surfaces engaged by inside protrusions in the handles. Springs inside the handles bias the sliding cylinders apart to engage the locks.

Abstract: The present invention provides thermoelectric device comprising a first electrode, a second electrode, a first electrolyte composition capable of transporting cations, a second electrolyte composition capable of transporting anions and a connector comprising mobile cations and mobile anions, wherein the first electrolyte composition is connected to said first electrode by being in ionic contact and the second electrolyte composition is connected to said second electrode by being in ionic contact and said connector is in ionic contact with said first and said second electrolyte composition, such that an applied temperature difference over said electrolyte compositions or an applied voltage over said electrodes facilitate transport of ions to and/or from said electrodes via said electrolyte compositions. There is also provided a method for generating electric current and a method for generating a temperature difference.

Abstract: A distance measuring wheel device includes a base and a counter is arranged inside the base and laterally connected to the axle of a first gear. Two connection arms respectively extend from the base. The wheel is rotatably between the two connection arms. Each end of the axle of the wheel is rotatably connected with one end of each connection arm opposite to the base. A first chain gear is connected to the axle of the wheel corresponding to the first gear. A second gear is rotatably arranged at one side of the base and engaged with the first gear. A third gear is coaxially linked to the second gear. A fourth gear is engaged with the third gear. The second chain gear is coaxially linked to the fourth gear. The chain is surrounded and engaged with the first chain gear and the second chain gear.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for pulse electrochemical polishing a wafer are disclosed. The method comprises steps of: establishing a duty cycle table showing all points on the wafer, a removal thickness corresponding to every point and a duty cycle corresponding to the removal thickness; driving a wafer chuck holding and positioning the wafer to move at a preset speed so that a special point on the wafer is right above a nozzle ejecting charged electrolyte onto the wafer; looking up the duty cycle table and obtaining the removal thickness and the duty cycle corresponding to the special point; and applying a preset pulse power source to the wafer and the nozzle and the actual polishing power source for polishing the special point being equal to the duty cycle multiplying by the preset power source.
