An apparatus for generating ozone in high concentration with efficiency and linearly controlling the concentration of ozone is disclosed. The apparatus includes an oxygen generator, a flat plate type ozone generator, a high-voltage transformer, a high-frequency inverter, a cooling-water supplier, and a control signal generator. The high-frequency inverter linearly controls the concentration of ozone by applying a high-frequency voltage pulse generated according to a predetermined ON/OFF time ratio corresponding to a voltage level of a control signal, to the flat plate type ozone generator through the high-voltage transformer. The flat plate type ozone generator uses a flat plate type ceramic as dielectrics, thereby optimizing the efficiency of ozone generation and the endurance of the ozone generator, and thus simultaneously miniaturizing dimension thereof.

A method for sterilizing the human female by tubal ligation comprising the use of a ring applicator device having forceps means slidably mounted inside a cylindrical tube for grasping the Fallopian tube and pulling it within the device and means for pushing or otherwise displacing an elastic or stretchable ring over the portion of the tube held within the device, thereby effecting a ligature thereof. The procedure is preferably used in conjunction with a viewing device such as a laparoscope or a culdoscope. The placement of the elastic ring on the tubes eliminates the need for time-consuming procedures which are discomforting to the patient and the use of bulky and expensive equipment. Moreover, depending upon the size and elastic power of the rings, the sterilization can be made permanently or reversibly, as desired. The device and method are also applicable to the sterilization of the human male by the ligature of the vas.

The present invention relates generally to a handpiece laser treatment apparatus for treating an affected area by irradiating lasers thereto. More particularly, the present invention relates to a handpiece laser treatment apparatus capable of adjusting the drawn length of an optical fiber in which laser is irradiated. The handpiece laser treatment apparatus capable of adjusting the length of optical fiber according to the present invention comprises: a laser module for generating a laser; an optical fiber that is connected to the laser module so that the laser is irradiated to the outside; a main body in which the laser module is inserted and disposed in the inside and the optical fiber is projected forwardly; and a slider for adjusting the length of the optical fiber which is projected in front of the body.

A method of forming a metal pattern on a display substrate includes blanket depositing a copper-based layer having a thickness between about 1,500 Å and about 5,500 Å on a base substrate, and forming a patterned photoresist layer on the copper-based layer. The copper-based layer is over-etched by an etching composition containing an oxidizing moderating agent where the over-etch factor is between about 40% and about 200% while using the patterned photoresist layer as an etch stopping layer, and where the etching composition includes ammonium persulfate between about 0.1% by weight and about 50% by weight, includes an azole-based compound between about 0.01% by weight and about 5% by weight and a remainder of water. Thus, reliability of the metal pattern and that of manufacturing a display substrate may be improved.

The present invention provides an arm model apparatus for intravenous injection training, comprising: an arm model having an insertion grooved recess formed on a top thereof, the arm model being formed such that the arm model are twisted so as to allow the back of a hand part and a cubital fossa to be oriented upwardly; a skin pad detachably mounted into the insertion grooved recess and having a blood vessel-imitating tube formed therein; a pump drive unit connected to the a blood vessel-imitating tube by a pad connecting tube; and a liquid blood supply container connected to the pump drive unit by a container connecting tube and configured to supply blood stored therein to the blood vessel-imitating tube. The inventive arm model apparatus implements a realistic skin sensation as if a syringe needle penetrated through the blood vessel of the human body through the arm model.
