Abstract: The present invention has for its object to provide an inspection chip using a metasurface for detection of biomolecules by a fluorescence detection method.
The inspection chip comprises a first substrate having a metasurface, and a second substrate positioned in opposition to the first substrate and having a microchannel, as shown in FIG. 1. Abstract: The present invention provides a simpler method for sharpening a tip of an emitter. In addition, the present invention provides an emitter including a nanoneedle made of a single crystal material, an emitter including a nanowire made of a single crystal material such as hafnium carbide (HfC), both of which stably emit electrons with high efficiency, and an electron gun and an electronic device using any one of these emitters. A method for manufacturing the emitter according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises processing a single crystal material in a vacuum using a focused ion beam to form an end of the single crystal material, through which electrons are to be emitted, into a tapered shape, wherein the processing is performed in an environment in which a periphery of the single crystal material fixed to a support is opened.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a prevention method and a prevention system for preventing dew condensation and light scattering due to the dew condensation. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a fine liquid droplet capable of causing dew condensation is detected by a detection means for detecting a fine liquid droplet, and then the fine liquid droplet is removed on the basis of the detection. The detection means comprises a first thin wire made of a first metal, and a second thin wire made of a second metal or a semiconductor, the second metal is different from the first metal, the first thin wire and the second thin wire are disposed in juxtaposition with each other on an insulating substrate, and a spacing between the first thin wire and the second thin wire is in a range of 20 nm or more and 10000 nm or less. Further, provided is a prevention system including a detection means for detecting a fine liquid droplet, a removing means for removing the fine liquid droplet, and a control means for controlling the removing means on the basis of information from the detection means.

Abstract: The present invention provides a steel material which has a plate shape and achieves both high strength and high rigidity by imparting large nonuniform deformation to the steel material utilizing rolling using a large-diameter work roll. The steel plate according to an embodiment of the present invention is produced by performing rolling using a rolling mill having a work roll diameter of 650 mm or more in a warm temperature region so that a nonuniform metallographic structure is formed in a plate thickness direction and thus the steel plate of the present invention is a high-strength and high-rigidity steel plate in which a yield strength is 580 MPa or more and a Young's modulus at a plate thickness center portion or a surface layer portion is 210 GPa or more and a difference in Young's moduli at the plate thickness center portion and the surface layer portion is 5 GPa or more in a case in which a tensile direction in a tensile test is at least any one of a rolling direction, a plate width direction, or a direction forming an angle difference of 45 degrees from the rolling direction and the plate width direction.
