摘要: A front end structure includes a front end panel (400) that is configured as a duct structure for preventing the air introduced from a grille opening (452) from bypassing a condenser (200) and a radiator (100). A fan unit (300) is arranged on the most upstream side portion of the structure. As a result, without the need to provide parts making up a separate duct structure, fresh air flow temperature can be blown in, while at the same time, the air that has passed through the condenser (200) can be prevented from bypassing the radiator (100). Thus, the heat releasing capacity of the condenser (200) and the radiator (100) can be improved while simultaneously preventing leakage between the condenser (200) and the radiator (100) without adding complex structure.

摘要: The flexible section 452 made of rubber or elastomer is molded integrally with the panel body 450 on the forward end side of the guide duct section 451 of the panel body made of resin, and the seal section 461 for tightly closing gap &dgr; between the panel body 450 and the heat exchanger 21 is molded integrally with the panel body 450 on the introduction opening section 460 side in the panel body 450. Due to the foregoing, it is possible to prevent the panel body 450 and the guide duct section 451 from being damaged in the case of a light collision. Therefore, a repair cost, which must be paid by a vehicle owner, is reduced and an increase in the number of parts of the front end structure and an increase in the cost of assembling are suppressed even though gap &dgr; between the panel body 450 and the heat exchanger 21 is tightly closed so that a decrease in the heat radiating capacity (heat exchange capacity) of the heat exchanger 21 can be prevented. Improvements are made so that the mechanical strength at a joining face of a resin molding molded by integrally molding the guide duct section 451 and the flexible section 452 can be enhanced and the deformation of parts can be prevented.

Further, the panel body and at least a part of the horn cover are integrally molded by resin. 摘要: A double heat exchanger has a condenser having a condenser tank and a condenser tank cap for closing an open end of the condenser tank, and a radiator having a radiator tank and a radiator tank cap for closing an open end of the radiator tank. The condenser tank cap has a protrusion which protrudes toward the radiator tank and contacts the radiator tank to form a gap between the condenser tank and the radiator tank. The protrusion is also used to clamp the condenser tank cap to the condenser tank. As a result, the gap is securely formed between the condenser tank and the radiator tank, while heat is transferred from the radiator tank to the condenser tank only through the protrusion. Therefore, heat transfer from the radiator tank to the condenser tank is sufficiently restricted without increasing a manufacturing cost.

摘要: A cooling module includes a heat exchanger, a blower, a fan shroud and an air cleaner unit for filtering air to be introduced into an engine of a vehicle. The fan shroud holds the blower on a downstream side of the heat exchanger with respect to a flow of air passing through the heat exchanger and has an air introducing portion defining an air passage from the heat exchanger to the blower. A front end of the air cleaner unit is offset from the heat exchanger with respect to a horizontal direction. A side wall of the air cleaner unit partly forms the air introducing portion. A clearance is provided between the side wall and the heat exchanger such that air upstream of the heat exchanger is conducted toward a position downstream of the heat exchanger through the clearance.

摘要: In a front end structure of a vehicle, a front end panel and a fan shroud are provided as separate parts. The front end panel and the fan shroud form labyrinthine gap structure between them. The labyrinthine gap structure restricts air from leaking or entering through a space between the front end panel and the fan shroud. Accordingly, a heat exchanging performance of a heat exchanger is not decreased. Also, the front end panel and the fan shroud are separately exchangeable or repairable.

摘要: A filler neck is connected to a connection pipe attached to a pouring port of a header tank of a radiator. A radiator cap having a pressure valve and an overflow pipe connected to a reservoir are attached to the filler neck. The filler neck has a cylindrical portion which includes an annular pressure-valve sealing portion making contact with the pressure valve, an opening formed inside an inner diameter of the pressure-valve sealing portion to communicate with the connection pipe and an opening peripheral portion formed along a periphery of the opening. The opening peripheral portion is disposed above a lower end of the overflow pipe. The filler neck is formed by pressing a metal plate. Therefore, the filler neck made of metal is readily formed into a shape substantially equal to that of a resin filler neck.
