摘要： An electronic timepiece includes a frequency supply for providing a relatively high frequency time base signal, a frequency converter responsive to the time base signal to provide a relatively low frequency time unit signal, timing signals, and a plurality of word pulses indicative of plurality of data words representing time data concerning the current time, and a set of additional data other than the time data. A primary register is arranged to store the time data and the additional data, and display means displays the time data and the additional data. An external control member is adapted to provide an input signal when actuated, and an indexing signal is generated in response to the input signal. A secondary register is arranged to store a plurality of sets of additional data and is operable to transfer each set of additional data to the primary register in a sequential manner as the first mentioned set of additional data in response to the indexing signal, whereupon each of the sets of additional data is sequentially displayed by the display means.

摘要： A modified protein composition which is produced by contacting a water-soluble protein, such as plant seed proteins, cow milk protein, animal meat proteins, fish meat proteins, egg proteins and microorganisms proteins, with a cysteine-enriched plastein in an amount of at least 1% by weight on the basis of the water-soluble protein in an aqueous medium, and if desired, heating the resultant under a mild condition (e.g. at a temperature of 40.degree. to 90.degree. C.), said cysteine-enriched plastein being produced by hydrolyzing a protein with an enzyme having an endopeptidase activity and subjecting the hydrolyzate to dehydration-condensation with a protease having an esterase activity in the presence of an activated cysteine (e.g. lower alkyl cysteinate, N-acetyl-L-cysteine or L-cysteinyl-L-cysteine).

摘要： A soy cheese having superior texture and body characteristics is made without milk solids by coagulating a fermented emulsion containing soy milk and a fat composition with about 0.05 to about 1.0 weight percent of a coagulant selected from the group consisting of aldonic acid lactones, uronic acid lactones, and mixtures thereof. A flavor producing proteolytic enzyme can be added to the soy milk before formation of the emulsion, to the emulsion prior to fermentation, or to the cooked curd without adversely affecting the texture and body of the resultant soy cheese.

摘要： Rotary electronic component of the invention has a contact board and an elastic contact. The contact board, including an annular contact having an arc-segmental portion split by a slit with a predetermined width and signaling contacts disposed at spaced positions and in electrical continuation with the arc-segmental portion, is fixed in a resin molding with the annular contact exposed on the top plane of the resin molding. The elastic contact slides on the contact board along the annular contact. In this rotary electronic component, a stress occurring when the annular contact is fixed by molding on to the contact board is relaxed owing to presence of the slit. Thus, a rotary electronic component generating an electric signal with a stabilized waveform over a long time can be obtained.

摘要： In a copying processing performed several times from the depression of a copy button of a copying machine until the surface potential of the photoreceptor drum is stabilized, a voltage sufficiently high for correcting the rise characteristic of the photosensitive layer on the drum surface is applied to a charger. A main circuit having a controlling portion to realize this corrects the output voltage of the high-voltage generating circuit which applies a high voltage to the charger to a voltage value necessary for the drum surface to be charged at a stable potential level. The main circuit charges the drum surface at the stable potential level necessary for development from copying of the first sheet.

摘要： A paper supplying deck is insertable into and withdrawable from a paper supplying portion of a body resulting in electrical connection between the side of the paper supplying deck and the side of the body through a drawer-type connector when the paper supplying deck is inserted and interruption of such electrical connection when the drawer is withdrawn. The paper supplying deck has a paper carrying portion with a paper width setting mechanism and a variable resistor the resistance value of which is changed in dependence on the paper width setting mechanism, thereby changing an output paper width detecting voltage. On the wide of the paper supplying deck, a resistance which prevents the paper width detecting voltage from amounting to a power source voltage even though the resistance value of the variable resistor reaches a maximum value, is connected in series with the variable resistor. On the side of the body, a pull up resistance is connected with the connector to discriminate between voltages in the connector when the paper supplying deck is mounted and when the paper supplying deck is not mounted.
