摘要: A plurality of autonomous control processes, with each controlling one or more components of the material transport (or processing) system, is used to radically simplify the controller software. Each autonomous control process is responsible for the actions of only a subset of the cluster tool components. For example, in one embodiment, a separate autonomous control process is used to control each automated component in the material handling system. However, other embodiments in which a control process controls a plurality of components are also contemplated. The control processes can also be implemented as rules-based machines, determining the proper action based on a set of fixed or programmable rules. Alternatively, the control processes may also execute traditional software algorithms. The control processes are designed such that, together they achieve the process flow and throughput requirements previously achieved via a single control process.

摘要: An abrasive article includes a body having an abrasive portion. The abrasive portion includes a bond material and abrasive particles located within the bond material. The body also comprises a coating coupled to and overlying at least a portion of an exterior surface of the abrasive portion. The coating has a water vapor transmission rate of not greater than about 2 g/m2-day.

摘要: Bonded abrasive articles and in particular organic bonded depressed center wheels with one or more reinforcements have reduced stiffness in comparison to conventional counterparts. Techniques for producing and using such wheels are described. In one example, a method for reducing the stiffness of an organically bonded abrasive wheel includes applying to a raised hub region of a reinforced depressed center wheel a force effective to irreversibly decrease the stiffness of said wheel.

摘要: A composition that can be used for abrasive processing is disclosed. The composition includes an organic bond material, an abrasive material dispersed in the organic bond material, and a plurality of microfibers uniformly dispersed in the organic bond material. The microfibers are individual filaments having an average length of less than about 1000 μm. Abrasive articles made with the composition exhibit improved strength and impact resistance relative to non-reinforced abrasive tools, and improved wheel wear rate and G-ratio relative to conventional reinforced tools. Active fillers that interact with microfibers may be used to further abrasive process benefits.

摘要: A fault processing method based on industry Ethernet network, wherein exchanging devices in the network are connected by mutual redundant double links, wherein work link is in working state, the spare link is in spare state, and the method includes: detecting connection states of the double links between the exchanging devices in the network (201); switching the spare link to the work link when the work link is in fault state and the spare state is in connecting state (202). A fault processing system and exchanging device based on industry Ethernet network are further provided, which applies the ring structure of mutual redundant double links according to the invention, the network availability is ensured by switching to the spare link when multipoint faults appear in the network; and the time of fault recovery processing is reduced by switching between mutual redundant links.
