    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for purifying crude tall oil. The purification method comprises a first purification step (2) for separating at least solids (8) from the crude tall oil and producing solids free crude tall oil, and after the first purification step (2) a second purification step (4) for separating water (14) from the solids free crude tall oil. The purification apparatus comprises at least one solids separator (3, 5′) for separating at least solids (8) from the crude tall oil and producing solids free crude tall oil, and at least one water separator (5, 9) arranged downstream of the solids separator (3, 5′) in the flow direction of the crude tall oil for separating at least water (14) from the solids free crude tall oil.

    摘要: A flexible optical illumination system may be used to illuminate components or areas of an electronic device such as mobile and portable communication devices. The flexible lightguide may manipulate and channel light selectively throughout an electronic assembly providing illumination for selective areas or an entire device. The lightguide may further include various filters and components for modifying, detecting and processing light and characteristics thereof. A flexible lightguide may be created from numerous optically transparent materials and processes such as film lamination, adhesive binding and molding. The lightguide may be created by a process that combines the manufacturing and assembly of the lightguide with the manufacturing and assembly of other components of the device. The lightguide may further be integrated into various mechanical or electronic components. The illumination system may also be used in different applications including decoration, illumination, alarms, message transfer and data transfer.

    摘要: An optical hinge and an optical hinge apparatus for providing an optical link between a first circuit board and a second circuit board. The optical hinge is made of two optical components, separated by an air gap, to allow a light beam to transmit from one optical component to another via the air gap. The optical components can be rotated relative to each other along a rotation axis. Each of the optical components is optically coupled to an opto-electronic device on a circuit board. Preferably, the light beam is transmitted through the air gap along an optical path which is substantially parallel to or coincident with the rotation axis. The light beam can be used to carry optical signals in order to convey communication data from one circuit board to another. The optical signals can be transmitted in infrared frequencies or visible frequencies.
