摘要: A blowby gas passage structure for returning a blowby gas leaking into a crankcase of an internal combustion engine to the internal combustion engine comprises: an intake passage which can be connected to the internal combustion engine for allowing the blowby gas to be returned to the internal combustion engine, and in which a throttle valve is disposed; a first passage for allowing the blowby gas to be introduced into the intake passage downstream from the throttle valve, the first passage including a joint portion connected to the intake passage; and a heating device provided in the joint portion of the first passage in such a manner as to be integral with the intake passage.

摘要: A fuel reforming apparatus for reforming a mixture of fuel and gas containing oxygen includes an air-fuel mixing chamber into which fuel and air are supplied in such a manner that the fuel and the air are mixed with each other; a reforming reaction chamber which is provided downstream of the air-fuel mixing chamber, and which includes a reforming catalyst for reforming the mixture; and a mixture flow chamber which is provided between the air-fuel mixing chamber and the reforming reaction chamber. The cross sectional area of an outlet of the air-fuel mixing chamber is smaller than the cross sectional area of an inlet of the reforming reaction chamber. An inner wall surface of the mixture flow chamber is formed such that the outlet of the air-fuel mixing chamber is smoothly continuous with the inlet of the reforming reaction chamber.

The fuel injection valve is positioned so that it intersects the delivery pipe and receives the supply of fuel from the side at a portion that intersects with the delivery pipe, and a sealing member is positioned at the joint portion between the delivery pipe and the fuel injection valve.

摘要: The fuel injection valve according to the present invention is a fuel injection valve adapted to inject a swirl flow of a high-pressure fuel from an injection port thereof. The injection port includes a fuel inlet portion and a fuel outlet portion. The fuel inlet portion has a cylindrical bore. In the fuel outlet portion, a circumference of an inlet thereof is joined to that of an outlet of the cylindrical bore, and the fuel outlet portion has a cross-sectionally elliptic chamfered part diverging from the inlet thereof to the outlet thereof. A depth of the chamfered part is set ¼ to 2 times as large as a diameter of the fuel inlet portion.

摘要: A fuel jet adjusting plate has first nozzle holes arranged along a first circle coaxial with a central axis of a valve body and second nozzle holes arranged along a second circle coaxial with the central axis and having a diameter larger than that of the first circle. Each hole axis of the second nozzle holes forms an acute angle with a reference plane perpendicular to the central axis of the valve body smaller than that formed by each hole axis of the first nozzle holes with the reference plane. Hence, fuel sprays injected through the first nozzle holes can be directed away from fuel sprays injected through the second nozzle holes. As a result, the fuel sprays injected through the first nozzle holes do not interfere with the fuel sprays injected through the second nozzle holes, which makes it possible to suitably atomize injected fuel.

摘要: A fuel injector for an internal combustion engine is disclosed. In the fuel injector, an opening on the outer side of the injection hole has a width generally larger than a height thereof. The width of the injection hole is gradually narrowed inward so that the fuel is injected at a predetermined angle in the direction of width. The height of the injection hole is nearly uniform in the direction of injecting the fuel within the predetermined angle in the direction of width. A height at both ends of the opening on the outer side of the injection hole is larger than the height at the central portion thereof.

Since the mixture passage is longer than each mixture injection port, an equal mix of fuel and air can be effected during the flow thereof in the mixture passage.

摘要: An air intake device comprising a main air intake passage and an auxiliary air intake passage, in which the main air intake passage interconnects the air cleaner to the engine cylinders and the auxiliary air intake passage is connected to the air cleaner at one end thereof and to the main air intake passage at the other end thereof. The equivalent pipe lengths of the main air intake passage and the auxiliary air intake passage are almost the same. An air pulsation control valve actuated in response to the engine load and the engine speed is arranged in the other end of the auxiliary air intake passage. The engine has a helically-shaped intake port comprising a helical portion, an inlet passage portion, and a bypass passage branched off from the inlet passage portion and connected to the helix terminating portion of the helical portion. A flow path control valve actuated in response to the engine load is arranged in the bypass passage. The opening and closing operation of the air pulsation control valve is carried out when the flow path control valve is open.

The tank is connected to an air cleaner via a second connecting pipe.
