摘要: A new method of planarizing an integrated circuit is achieved. The dielectric layers between the conductive layers of an integrated circuit are formed and planarized via A first silicon oxide layer is deposited over the metal layer. This is covered with a spin-on-glass layer. This layer is dried by baking. The spin-on-glass layer is now fully cured. The cured spin-on-glass layer is now ion implanted under the conditions of between about 1E15 to 1E17 atoms/cm.sup.2 and energy between about 50 to 100 KeV. A silicon oxide layer is deposited thereover. Via openings are now made through the silicon oxide layers and the spin-on-glass layer and filled with metal. This results in excellent planarity with no poisoned via problems. Most importantly, this method can be used for submicron technologies having conductor lines which are spaced from one another by submicron feature size and can be processed without the use of an etch-back process for the cured spin on and glass layer.

摘要: The use of autogenous bone graft is the current gold standard in the 1.5 million bone-grafting surgeries performed annually in the United States. Although this practice has resulted in high rates of fusion success, it is associated with increased operative time and blood loss, along with a significant degree of donor-site morbidity. Additionally, in certain settings such as revision cases, multilevel constructs, or in patients with medical comorbidities, autogenous bone graft may exist in limited quantity and quality. This significant need for a suitable alternative to autogenous bone graft has stimulated great interest in the exploration of bone graft substitutes and extenders.

摘要: A system and method for data communication connecting on-line networks with on-line and off-line computers. The present system provides for broadcast of up to the minute notification centric information thereby providing an instant call to action for users who are provided with the ability to instantaneously retrieve further detailed information. The notification centric portions of information is wirelessly broadcast to wireless receiving devices which are attached to computing devices. Upon receipt of the information at the personal computer, the user is notified through different multimedia alerts that there is an incoming message. Wirelessly broadcasted URL's, associated with the data, are embedded in data packets and provide an automated wired or wireless connection back to the information source for obtaining detailed data.

摘要: Computer-implemented methods, computer-readable media, and an application system are disclosed for creating and deploying metadata-generated applications. Access is provided to one or more type libraries that each include one or more defined object types configurable for use in generating the application. The defined object types include data structure types, rule types, and data types. Input is elicited from a user regarding desired content and function of the application. Based on the user input, metadata is generated to adapt the defined object types to generate the application. Metadata is generated to adapt the defined data structure types to create one or more application databases, to adapt the defined rule types to create one or more application behaviors, and to adapt the defined data types to create one or more application data types.

摘要: A method of manufacturing an integrated lead head suspension flexure of the type having conductors on a spring metal layer capable of being etched by a first etching process. The method includes forming a patterned layer having gaps one or more flying lead regions of dielectric material on a major surface of the spring metal layer and forming one or more conductive leads on the flexure, including onto the dielectric material and over exposed spring metal at the gap at each flying lead region. At least the flying lead portion of the conductive lead is formed from conductive material resistant to the first etching process. The method also includes etching a flying lead region of the spring metal layer to remove a portion of the spring metal layer in the flying lead region and expose the flying lead portions of the conductive lead.
