    摘要: An optical disk according to the present invention has data recording tracks of lands and grooves. Each of the data recording tracks has a length corresponding to a revolution of the disk and includes a plurality of track sectors. The data recording tracks of lands and grooves are connected alternately to form a continuous data recording spiral. Each of the track sectors has a preformatted identification signal part for representing sector address data and has a data recording part for recording data. The identification signal part has a first address data region and a second address region. The first address data region and the second address data region are shifted by the same predetermined distance in opposite directions from the center of a groove track in the radial direction of the disk. The first address data region is set to represent the address of a groove track sector, and the second address data region is set to represent the address of a land track sector adjacent to the groove track sector.

    摘要: It is an object of the invention to realize a DTF control in a wide frequency range and a noiseless high-speed replay at several tens of times the normal relay speed without degradation of picture quality. It is also an object to provide an optimum contact between the head and the tape at all times by performing the tension control with high precision and in wide frequency range.A pair of supply side stationary pins 10a.sub.1, 10a.sub.2 and a supply side movable pin 9a driven by a supply side tape actuator 11a are provided on the magnetic tape supply side of the head cylinder that has a rotary head H. By controlling the supply side tape actuator 11a to move the movable pin 9a, the tension of the magnetic tape T at the head cylinder can be controlled. When the tape is replayed at speed different from the recording speed, the supply side tape actuator 11a and a takeup side tape actuator are operated differentially from each other to perform a good tracking.

    摘要: In a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus having a solenoid-driven actuator to move a magnetic head in the tracking direction, a magnetic head position controller includes a state estimator for estimating the moving speed of the actuator from a drive voltage and a drive current supplied to the actuator; and a damping control loop for feeding back the estimated speed signal estimated by the state estimator to the actuator drive voltage. The state estimator is formed of a combination of equivalent circuits that electrically simulate modeled characteristics of the solenoid-driven actuator and receives the drive voltage and the drive current of the actuator and produces the estimated speed signal representing the speed of the actuator. The state estimator includes equivalent circuits that electrically simulate a drive coil resistance and inductance characteristic of the solenoid-driven actuator; a force constant of a magnetic circuit of the solenoid-drive actuator; and an inertia, a spring constant, and a counter electromotive force of the solenoid-driven actuator.

    摘要: In an optical disk storing digital image information in the form of a succession of blocks, each comprising a plurality of frames comprising I-, P- and B-pictures, wherein an address format is preformatted in front of the block of image information of said plurality of frames, and the data arrangement within each image information blocks is such that I- and P-pictures are collectively disposed. The position of the I-pictures within each block is shifted from one block to another. The I-picture data may be divided into fraction according to the position on the screen, the DCT frequency, or layering, and the fractional I-picture data may be arranged in the image information blocks, and a header or parity signal is recorded in front of each fractional I-picture data. With such a configuration, it is possible to increase the speed of fast playback, and realize smooth playback picture.

    摘要: In an optical disk of a single-spiral configuration, and including a first sequence of address pits and a second sequence of address pits, wherein headers include first and second sequences of address pits provided in different positions along the track. The first sequence of address pits are shifted by half a track pitch in a first radial direction so that its center line is aligned with a first boundary between a land track and a groove track following the header. The second sequence of address pits are shifted in a second radial direction opposite to the first radial direction by half a track pitch so that its center line is aligned with a second boundary (next to the first boundary) between a land track and a groove track following the header. The first sequence of address pits indicate an address of a sector in a first one of a land track and a groove track following the header. The second sequence of address pits indicate an address of a sector in a second one of a land track and a groove track following the header. The disk may further comprises mirror surface parts provided following the first and second sequences of address pits in a header at the connecting point. The offset in the tracking error signal is detected when the light spot is scanning the sequences of address pits and/or the mirror surface parts.
