    摘要: In an optical disk storing digital image information in the form of a succession of blocks, each comprising a plurality of frames comprising I-, P- and B-pictures, wherein an address format is preformatted in front of the block of image information of said plurality of frames, and the data arrangement within each image information blocks is such that I- and P-pictures are collectively disposed. The position of the I-pictures within each block is shifted from one block to another. The I-picture data may be divided into fraction according to the position on the screen, the DCT frequency, or layering, and the fractional I-picture data may be arranged in the image information blocks, and a header or parity signal is recorded in front of each fractional I-picture data. With such a configuration, it is possible to increase the speed of fast playback, and realize smooth playback picture.

    摘要: In optical disk having information recording tracks in the form of land and groove tracks, the disk being divided into a plurality of annular zones, each revolution of the information recording track belonging to one of the zones, each revolution of the information recording track being divided into a plurality of sectors, the disk having a header portion at the head of each sector, the header portion including a recognition pattern which is formed of a sequence of pits having a pattern which is not used as a pattern for data or address in the information recording part. The disk may be of a land/groove single-spiral configuration. The header portion for each sector may have a plurality of sub-headers, including address of the sector, and first and second recognition patterns. The address of the sector, and the first recognition pattern may be provided, being shifted in one radial direction by half a track pitch, the second recognition pattern being provided, being shifted in the other radial direction by half a track pitch.

    摘要: A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus for recording a desired sound or picture signal to a magnetic tape by a magnetic head. At the time of normal-speed recording and reproduction, the magnetic tape is taken up at a constant speed, but by changing the tape travelling speed of the tape on the rotary drum, DTF control and high-speed noiseless reproduction are enabled. The tension of the tape on the entrance side of the rotary drum is controlled to a desired value. This apparatus includes a tape tension actuator and a tape drawing actuator on the entrance side and on the exit side, respectively, of the rotary drum. In DTF control, both tape actuators correct a tracking error of the tape in cooperation with each other. In high-speed noiseless reproduction, both tape actuators are differentially driven so as to lower the tape travelling speed on the rotary drum. Both tape actuators are driven in feedback control using the modern control.

    摘要: An optical disk according to the present invention has data recording tracks of lands and grooves. Each of the data recording tracks has a length corresponding to a revolution of the disk and includes a plurality of track sectors. The data recording tracks of lands and grooves are connected alternately to form a continuous data recording spiral. Each of the track sectors has a preformatted identification signal part for representing sector address data and has a data recording part for recording data. The identification signal part has a first address data region and a second address region. The first address data region and the second address data region are shifted by the same predetermined distance in opposite directions from the center of a groove track in the radial direction of the disk. The first address data region is set to represent the address of a groove track sector, and the second address data region is set to represent the address of a land track sector adjacent to the groove track sector.
