    摘要: The communication performance of a radio communication system is improved while keeping short time necessary for attaining synchronization. A low noise amplifier is selectively provided with one of an input signal supplied from the outside of the system and an oscillation output signal of a local oscillator. A mixer integrates the oscillation output signal of the local oscillator and an output signal of the low noise amplifier. An intensity discriminating unit discriminates the signal intensity of an output of the mixer. In a first state, the low noise amplifier amplifies the oscillation output signal of the local oscillator, and a control unit learns a frequency band of the low noise amplifier for maximizing the signal intensity on the basis of the discrimination result of the intensity discriminating unit. In a second state, the low noise amplifier is set to the frequency band learned in the first state and amplifies the input signal.

    摘要: A flat-panel display device includes a matrix array of display pixels which respectively have memory elements, a vertical decoder which selectively designates row blocks of the display pixels, a horizontal decoder which selectively designates column blocks of the display pixels, a video RAM which stores image data respectively assigned to the memory elements, and a controller which controls the vertical and horizontal decoders to write the contents of the video RAM in units of blocks specified by row and column block addresses. The device further includes an interface which determines a rewriting range corresponding to at least one block of the display pixels including display pixels for part of the image data when the part is updated in the video RAM, and supplies to the controller the image data assigned to each block included in the rewriting range.

    摘要: An intelligent power module (IPM) is formed of an inverter having power elements, a predriver for driving the inverter, and a protect circuit, and all these components are integrated into the same package. A shunt resistor is provided at an output of the inverter so that an end-to-end voltage of the shunt resistor can be output to an external device. This configuration enables an output current from an inverter apparatus incorporating the IPM to be detected without using a current transformer that requires a large installation space. In addition, the module terminals of the IPM and the terminal blocks of the inverter apparatus are integrated together to eliminate the need for wire rods and set screws for connections which are used to connect the module terminals and the terminal blocks together.

    摘要: A method for transforming strain PF1022, which produces a cyclic depsipeptide (substance PF1022) and belongs to the order Agonomycetales of the class Hyphomycetes has been established by using a plasmid constructed with a promoter, a terminator, a marker gene and a target gene. When the strain PF1022 was transformed by this method, a gene encoding an enzyme, which is the target gene, was transduced into the host. As a result, the utilization of nutrients by the strain PF1022 was improved and, further, its cyclic depsipeptide productivity was also improved.
