    摘要: The fresh flower bouquet system provides cost-effective production of fresh floral bouquets, forming bouquets with symmetrical spacing of individual stems and maintaining the flowers in water and a cut flower hydrating solution without the use of floral foam. The system includes a plastic or metal cap having a grid of holes defined therein, a plastic or glass vase or other container, and a tie-down system, e.g., an elastic or rubber band wrapped around the stems, for bundling the stems together in the container below the cap. When the closure or cap is snapped or threaded on to the container, a secured, self-contained floral bouquet having maximum shelf life because of continuous hydration is formed.

    摘要: An audio and/or video generation apparatus comprises a recording processor which is operable to record audio and/or video signals on a recording medium, a meta data generation processor which is operable to generate meta data identifying the content of the audio/video signals, and a communications processor which arranged to communicate the meta data separately from the recording medium. Furthermore, the meta data generation processor may be operable to generate at least one sample image which is representative of a video image from the recorded video signals, and to associate the sample image with an address on the recording medium at which the video image is recorded. The video and/or audio generation apparatus provides an advantage in generating and utilising meta data to facilitate the generation of audio/video productions. Accordingly, a system for generating an audio and/or video production comprises an acquisition processor operable in use to receive instructions from a user which instructions are representative of a list of content items for the audio and/or video production. The audio and/or video generation apparatus is arranged in use to receive information representative of the list of content items, and to generate audio and/or video signals in accordance with the content items on the list. An ingestion processor may be provided to receive the list of content items, and the audio and/or video signals and to form the audio and/or video production by associating the audio and/or video signals with the list of content items.

    摘要: A laser system which generates short duration pulses, such as under five nanoseconds at an energy level of up to a few milli-Joules per pulse (mJ/p) with near diffraction limited beam quality. A laser crystal is pumped (excited) by diode lasers. A resonator having at least two mirror surfaces defines a beam path passing through the laser crystal. The beam path in the resonator is periodically blocked by a first optical shutter permitting pump energy to build up in the laser crystal, except for a short period near the end of each pumping period. While the first optical shutter is open a second optical shutter blocks the light in the resonator except for periodic short intervals, the intervals being spaced such that at least one light pulse traveling at the speed of light in the resonator is able to make a plurality of transits through the resonator, increasing in intensity by extracting energy from the excited laser crystal on each transit. After the light pulse has built up in intensity, an optical release mechanism releases the pulse from resonator.
