A method for forecasting remaining useful life (RUL) of a battery by an electronic device is provided. The method includes forecasting the RUL of the battery based on at least one capacity value of the battery estimated by at least one of a battery capacity estimation model and a data driven model, determining whether the at least one capacity value for the charging cycle and the discharging cycle is lower than the at least one capacity value estimated by at least one of the battery capacity estimation model and the data driven model and correcting the forecasting RUL of the battery by feeding back the at least one capacity value to at least one of the battery capacity estimation model and the data driven model.

A network assignment method of a gateway in a wireless communication system including a first communication network and a second communication network is provided. The method includes receiving, when a terminal is connected to the first communication network, a create session request message from a second mobility management entity associated with a second base station operating the second communication network, allocating second attach information for establishing a bearer between the gateway and the second base station based on first attach information generated for connection to the first communication network, and transmitting a create session response message including the second attach information to the second mobility management entity in response to the create session request message.

An electronic device may include a battery, a memory, and a processor operatively coupled to the battery and the memory. The processor may be configured for a first charging pattern as the main charging pattern. The processor may obtain data related to charging of the battery in a situation in which the battery is charged based on the main charging pattern. The processor may identify a first life expectancy based on the configured first charging pattern and the obtained data. The processor may identify a second charging pattern that satisfies a second life expectancy relatively longer than the identified first life expectancy. The processor may change the main charging pattern from the first charging pattern to the second charging pattern. The processor may determine a charging current corresponding to the charging voltage of the battery based on the second charging pattern in response to the charge request signal for the battery. An example battery control system includes a first battery cell, a second battery cell connected in parallel to the first battery cell, a first impedance controller connected in series to the first battery cell, a second impedance controller connected in series to the second battery cell, and a control circuit electrically connected to the first battery cell, the second battery cell, the first impedance controller, and the second impedance controller, wherein the control circuit is configured to: measure a potential difference between the first battery cell and the second battery cell; determine whether a magnitude of the potential difference is included in a first range; and, based on determining that the magnitude of the potential difference is determined not included in the first range, control one of the first impedance controller and the second impedance controller, so as to control a ratio by which the entire current introduced into the battery control system is distributed to the first battery cell and the second battery cell, to be included in a predetermined range.

The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system therefor for combining a 5G communication system, for supporting higher data transmission rates beyond a 4G system, with IoT technology. The present disclosure can be applied, on the basis of 5G communication and IoT-related technologies, to intelligent services such as services related to a smart home, smart building, smart city, smart or connected car, health care, digital education, small businesses, security and safety. The communication method using multilinks in a wireless communication system according to a variety of embodiments of the present disclosure comprises the steps of: acquiring multilink control data; distributing transmission data to each link on the basis of the multilink control data; and transmitting, simultaneously or selectively, the distributed transmission data to each link. The embodiments are not limited to the above and other embodiments are possible.

A system and method are provided to efficiently provide coverage within a large scale of a building by identifying user equipment (UE) on a floor by floor basis using a distributed antenna system (DAS) and pseudo timing advance values (TA) assigned to each floor. By applying different pseudo delays on a plurality of distributed antenna basis located at each floor, a base station can know a floor at which a user equipment is located through a timing advance value of the user equipment. When a traffic amount increases based on the measured traffic amount of each floor, the base station may increase a carrier and adjust an amplifier output on a floor by floor basis, thereby efficiently using power and maintaining a user's quality of experience (QoE).

A tile-based rendering method includes performing binning of a current frame; generating an identification code of binning information or property information of a tile to be rendered in the current frame; comparing the identification code of the tile to be rendered to an identification code of a previous tile, wherein a location of the previous tile in a previous frame is the same as a location of the tile to be rendered in the current frame; and rendering the current frame by either re-using an image stored in a frame buffer or performing pixel processing of the tile to be rendered depending on a result of the comparing.
