A method and an apparatus for controlling network access of a User Equipment (UE) based on the network's load and time tolerance (delay tolerance) are provided. A network access method for a terminal in a wireless communication system includes sending an access request message containing a time-tolerant indicator at a predefined time, determining, when a reject message is received, a cause value and a hold time contained in the reject message, and re-sending the access request message after the hold time elapses.

A method for creating a unique and secure mobile internet protocol version 4 connection for a packet data network is provided. The method includes generating an extended master session key to create a mobile interne protocol root key. The method also includes creating a mobile internet protocol security parameter index based on the mobile interne protocol root key and an access point name. The method further includes deriving a mobile node home agent key based on the access point name. Furthermore the method includes associating the derived mobile node home agent key to the created security parameter index. Moreover the method includes providing the unique and secure mobile internet protocol version 4 connection to transfer data for the packet data network connectivity.

The image sensors may include a substrate including first, second, third and fourth regions, a first photoelectric conversion element in the first region, a second photoelectric conversion element in the second region, a third photoelectric conversion element in the third region, a fourth photoelectric conversion element in the fourth region, a first microlens at least partially overlapping both the first and second photoelectric conversion elements, and a second microlens at least partially overlapping both the third and fourth photoelectric conversion elements. The image sensors may also include a floating diffusion region and first, second and third pixel transistors configured to perform different functions from each other. Each of the first, second and third pixel transistors may be disposed in at least one of first, second, third and fourth pixel regions. A method and an apparatus are provided in a first radio access technology (RAT). Mobility history information is generated including information on a time duration while in a second RAT. It is identified whether the terminal is in a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connected mode. The mobility history information is transmitted to a base station if the terminal is in the RRC connected mode.

An access admission control method and system for and SAE/LTE system is provided for determining whether to accept or reject an access of a User Equipment (UE) to a Home evolved Node B (HeNB) based on the subscriber information of the UE. In an access admission control method according to the present invention, a HeNB or HeNB Gateway (HGW) transmits, when an access request message is received from a UE, the access request message to a Mobility Management Entity (MME) together with a CSG ID of the HeNB, and the MME determines, whether to accept or reject the access of the UE to the HeNB based on whether the CSG ID is contained in a white list associated with the UE.

A handover method and apparatus for facilitating a handover of a user equipment to a femto cell in a wireless communication system supporting both the femto and macro cells. When a handover condition is detected, the user equipment acquires identity information of a target femto cell base station from system information transmitted by the target femto cell base station, decides whether to handover to the target femto cell base station, based on the identity information; and transmits a measurement report message including the identity information to a serving base station of the user equipment, when the handover is to be made.
