摘要: An infusion device includes a housing with an interior chamber sized and configured to hold at least a flange and plunger of a syringe, a trigger held by the housing, and a lever in communication with the trigger and including an upwardly extending cam with a cam path having an upper end. The cam is in communication with the flange of the syringe. In response to actuation of the trigger to dispense fluid from the syringe, the upper end of the cam travels upward above the syringe and longitudinally toward a dispensing end of the syringe to linearly translate the plunger of the syringe in a first direction to dispense fluid from the syringe. To refill fluid into the syringe, the upper end of the cam travels downward and longitudinally away from the dispensing end of the syringe to linearly translate the plunger in a second direction to intake fluid.

摘要: A system for injecting a fluid medicament into a patient includes a drive mechanism, and a cassette loaded with a pre-filled hypodermic syringe. When the cassette is loaded, the syringe is held firmly inside and the cassette can be selectively engaged with the drive mechanism. The drive mechanism has two motors. A first motor initially moves the hypodermic syringe from a position inside the cassette where its needle is concealed, to a position where the needle extends from the cassette for insertion into a patient for an injection. With the needle inserted, a second motor pushes the syringe stopper to expel a fluid medicament from the syringe. After an injection, the first motor withdraws the syringe back into concealment inside the cassette, to again firmly hold the syringe on the cassette. The cassette and syringe, in combination, can then be removed from the drive mechanism and discarded.

摘要: An injection device has a plunger for displacing a stopper in a syringe or carpule, a holder for the plunger, a drive for the axial displacement of the holder of the plunger, and a control device functionally assigned to the drive. The plunger, or at least a subcomponent thereof, relative to the holder, the holder is able to move over a limited distance relative to the plunger or a subcomponent thereof, opposing a pretensioning force, in that a sensor device is included which detects the relative position of the plunger, or at least a subcomponent thereof, relative to the holder, which comprises at least one sensor element which works together with the control device. The control device is designed such that, upon activation of the sensor element, the speed of advancement of the holder of the plunger is at least reduced.

摘要: A drug delivery device comprising a piston rod adapted to engage and axially move a cartridge piston to thereby expel an amount of drug from a loaded cartridge corresponding to a set dose amount, the device comprising a motor for moving the drive member from an initial position, through a start-of-dose position, to an end-of-dose position, as well as position detection means adapted to generate output data indicative of the drive member's position relative to the piston of a loaded cartridge. An electronic controller adapted is adapted operate the motor to continuously move the drive member from the initial position, based on output data from the position detection means determine that the drive member is in engagement with the cartridge piston corresponding to the start-of-dose position, and operate the motor to move the drive member from the start-of-dose position to the an end-of-dose position corresponding to the set dose.

摘要: Described herein are injection devices capable of automatically injecting substances into the soft tissue of a patient. The devices can inject low to high viscosity materials at predetermined, user selected injection rates, allowing the operator more control than a traditional syringe. The devices can allow mixing of more than one substance and/or reconstitution of a solid substance for injection. The injection devices described herein can allow the operator to easily inject one or more low to high viscosity liquid or gel soft-tissue augmentation fillers, one or more drugs, one or more other biocompatible materials, or combinations thereof.

摘要: A portable compact scaled-down programmable system for authorized dispensing of medicines is illustrated. The system includes at least one enclosure, a dispenser unit having an integrated cap and a plurality of dispensing slots, adapted to facilitate dispense of at least one medicine to an authentic user. The system further includes a driving mechanism for the upward and downward movement of the dispenser unit, a control unit to facilitate controlled functioning of functional units of the system, a primary sensor unit to facilitate the identification and authorization, a power supply unit, a micro-USB, a GNSS module, a set of status indicators having a liquid crystal display, a speaker, a vibrator and a LED, a set of knobs, and a communication facilitator. Further, the system can be operated either in stand-alone mode and or in paired mode. The system is configured to include a plurality of internet of things [IoT] modules.

摘要: A medicament dispensing device capable of managing the effective use period of a medicament preparation-containing syringe by simply and accurately detecting a period of time after the start of use of the preparation. In a medicament dispensing device (1), when a medicament preparation-containing syringe (11) is replaced, a microprocessor (23) detects the time at which the replacement is performed as the time of the start of use of the preparation, and counts the elapsed time after the use of the preparation has started. Then, the microprocessor (23) notifies the result of the counting by a LCD (10), etc. to the user. Also, the microprocessor (23) detects that a syringe needle for dispensing the preparation has been mounted, and after detecting the mounting of the syringe needle, the microprocessor (23) counts the elapsed time after the start of use of the preparation. In a step S12, the microprocessor (23) checks whether or not the elapsed time counted by a timer (21) has exceeded a specified time. When an effective use period has expired, the microprocessor (23) issues a message in a step S17 that the effective period of a medicament has expired.
