Disclosed is a slot die, which includes a feed unit for introducing a coating material, a chamber for accommodating a coating material supplied through the feed unit, a slit communicating with the chamber to discharge the coating material, and a die body having die lips which form the slit, wherein the chamber includes a chamber block which has an inner space for accommodating the coating material and is configured so that the entire block is exchangeable with respect to the die body, and wherein a coating width is determined by a width of the inner space of the chamber block.

A fluid application device, a nozzle assembly and a method of applying a fluid onto a strand of material provided. The fluid application device includes an applicator head and a nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly includes a guide slot for receiving a strand of material. The nozzle assembly further includes an orifice, spaced from the guide slot, configured to discharge a first fluid to onto the strand, and at least one outlet, adjacent to the orifice, for discharging a second fluid to act on the first fluid. The method includes positioning the strand at the closed end of the guide slot so that the strand is spaced a predetermined distance from the orifice, feeding the strand through the guide slot at a predetermined speed, applying the first fluid onto the strand from the orifice and discharging the second fluid from the at least one outlet.

An electrode production system is configured so that a metal foil is folded back a plurality of times and conveyed by a plurality of rollers that are disposed for a coating device, a drying device and a pressing device. A coating process, a drying process and a pressing process are serially performed by the coating device, the drying device and the pressing device, respectively, by using the rollers. This makes it possible to unwind the rolled metal foil and convey the metal foil in the up-and-down direction. The coating device, the drying device and the pressing device can be integrated and thus the size of the electrode production system can be reduced. Furthermore, since a small-size electrode production system can be configured, it is easy to install the electrode production system in a clean and dry environment.

The present application relates to a slot die coating apparatus and, more particularly, to a slot die coating apparatus which can ensure the coating stability of a substrate film by reducing pressure oscillations within a vacuum chamber when slot die coating is carried out. The slot die coating apparatus according to the present application can effectively dampen pressure oscillations within a vacuum chamber by connecting a pressure oscillation reducing tank to the vacuum chamber and thus can ensure the coating stability of a substrate film, resulting in a reduction in the proportion of defective products.

The present invention provides a substrate double-surface hole-filling apparatus for carrying out a hole-filling operation on a substrate which has a first surface and a second surface, comprises a first feeding device, a first scraping device, a first drying device, a second feeding device, a second scraping device, a second drying device and a turnover device. The substrate double-surface hole-filling apparatus has a turnover device turning over the substrate which needs to be carried out with hole-filling operation. Therefore, the substrate double-surface hole-filling apparatus can automatically carry out the hole-filling operation on two surfaces of the substrate without manual turnover of the substrate, thus improving production efficiency.
