摘要:
A punching and/or perforation equipment (33, 34) for continuous paper forms (37, 42) comprising punching and/or perforation member (81; 226, 227) and contrast elements (82; 224) substantially tangent to the movement surface (63, 204) of the forms and a punching and/or perforation mechanism (56, 57; 197, 198) for driving the punching and/or perforation members. A detecting device (92, 93; 244, 245) detects at least one reference position the forms associated with the punching and/or perforation positions and a servomechanism (87, 88; 228, 229) actuates the punching and/or perforation mechanism on the basis of the reference position or positions between a state of rest and a state of punching and/or perforation and in which the reference position or positions are associated with information of a position encoder (72, 214). The punching and/or the perforation members cooperate with the form with a peripheral velocity, at the moment of the punching and/or perforation, substantially equal to the velocity of the moving form (37, 42).

A punching die for punching out a seal member from a sheet of an inorganic fiber mat having a contour. The punching die includes a base plate. A first blade is supported on the base plate and has a cutting edge extending to form a loop. The first blade punches out a frame-shaped unnecessary portion, which includes the contour, and a seal member formation portion, which includes the seal member, from the inorganic fiber mat. A second blade, which is supported on the base plate at an outer side of the first blade, partially cuts the frame-shaped unnecessary portion. The at least one second blade forms a perforation in the frame-shaped unnecessary portion to separate the unnecessary portion into a plurality of unnecessary fragments. This improves productivity for production of the seal members.

The present invention is a bending machine for bending material such as steel to form cutting dies for products such as cloth, leather or the like. Coiled material is fed through a material washer, straightener and printer by a material feeder to a bending head. If required the material is forwarded through the bending head to a heating unit and retracted to the bending unit to aid in bending. A nicking tool is also provided ahead of the bending tool to nick the material. The nicks enable the cutting die to cut notches in the product being cut. A support surface at the output end of the machine supports the material as it is bent into the required form.

A product and method for producing a string of individual sealed, filled packages separated by perforations. A string of separate packages optionally may be enclosed in a cardboard or other container designed to sit in a pantry or other location for dispensing of individual units. Perforations in the packaging film between separate packages provide a tear point to aid in separating one package from the next. There are several advantages to this format including easy placement of the string of packages into a carton for shipping or dispensing, and the ability to hang a string of packages in locations without the need to attach the packages to a backing strip. The perforations between packages facilitate the packaging and transportation of the entire string or bandolier, and facilitate the removal and use of a separate package.

The invention provides a method of shaping optical storage devices (OSD) by placing an OSD between a die set having a male die and female die corresponding to a desired shape and advancing and retracting the die set so as to die-cut the OSD to the desired shape to form a shaped OSD, the shaped OSD products formed therefrom and the die set.

An apparatus and method is provided for simultaneously perforating and cutting a lithe sheet material having multiple layers containing at least an upper and lower layer, comprising a knife die having a cutting edge, wherein the cutting edge is contained in the same plane, and an anvil die located opposite the knife die, wherein the surface of the anvil die contains a pattern of cavities which corresponds to the locations where primarily only the upper layer of the material is cut completely through and protrusions of the anvil primarily correspond to the locations where the entire thickness of the material is cut along the same line as the cut through the upper layer. A sheet material of removable shapes is also provided comprising an upper layer having a printed side and a self adhesive side, and a lower layer having a release surface adjacent the upper layer's self adhesive side, wherein a shape has been completely cut out of the upper layer so that the shape can be pealed from the lower layer and the lower layer has been perforated through its thickness along all or part of the same lines as the cut shape so that the lower layer can either be kept in whole or torn along the perforation.

A pack of self-opening plastic T-shirt bags for use with a bagging rack. Each plastic bag in the pack of bags has a mouth tab portion between its two upwardly extending handles, which are at the sides of the mouth of the T-shirt bags. The mouth tab portion is located on the front and rear walls in the mouth region of the plastic bags. The mouth tab portion has an aperture for receiving a retaining projection of a bagging rack. Frangible pressure bonding is formed along the perimeter of said mouth aperture. Flapless handle apertures are also formed in the handles, with frangible pressure bonds formed along their perimeter edges. Due to the frangible bonding formed between adjacent bags, as a frontmost bag is removed from the pack of bags on the bagging rack, the next bag in the pack of bags will automatically self-open into a open position for loading with merchandise. The frangible bonding is formed with dies having a die portion with a cutting edge and having a compression portion, with a generally blunt leading edge, positioned in close proximity to the die portion.

The invention relates to the machining of cutting (stamping) edges which are etched photochemically out of a carrier base and by means of which labels consisting of label material adhering releasably to a supporting web are to be cut (stamped) as a result of the rolling of the cutting edges of the label material, wherein the cutting edges are given a triangular cross-section having fluted sides by milling by means of a frustoconical milling cutter engaging the longitudinal sides of the cutting edges and rotating about its axis. The invention also relates to cutting edges obtained by the process.
摘要:
A paper product has a first sheet with a pattern of spaced openings permitting separation into sections and a second sheet releasably attached to the first sheet with a pattern of continuous curvilinear openings dividing the sheet into sections and being aligned with the openings of the first sheet. A die sheet for a die for cutting material includes a die sheet surface with a die pattern extending outwardly from the die sheet surface. The die pattern has slitting sections providing curvilinear, continuous openings through a second sheet of the material and spaced perforating sections extending above the slitting sections providing a pattern of spaced openings in the first sheet adjacent to the openings through the second sheet. A first method of constructing a die sheet includes covering a die surface with a first, spaced pattern of a first photo-resist material and then covering the first pattern with a second, continuous pattern of a second photo-resist material. A chemical removes material from sections not covered by the second pattern and the second pattern is then removed. A chemical removes material from die surface sections not covered by the first pattern. A second method of constructing a die sheet includes covering sections of a die surface with a pattern of photo-resist material having alternating slitting segments and wider perforating segments. A chemical removes material from uncovered sections and completely undercuts the slitting segments to form slitting sections and undercuts the perforating segments to form higher extending perforating sections.
