摘要: An apparatus for recognizing an object of a vehicle using pattern recognition includes a first lamp including: a first optical device configured to generate light of a first pattern and irradiate the light of the first pattern to an object according to a predetermined cycle, and a second optical device configured to generate light of a second pattern and irradiate the light of the second pattern to the object. The apparatus further includes: a camera configured to recognize the first pattern irradiated to the object when the light of the first pattern is irradiated, and a control unit configured to acquire object recognition information of the object based on the first pattern recognized by the camera.

摘要: Provided are example systems for obtaining optical sensor data to facilitate the operation of an autonomous vehicle. In an example implementation, a system includes a light source, an optical sensor, and a control module. The light source periodically emits pulses of light into the environment of the autonomous vehicle. The optical sensor periodically obtains optical sensor data of the environment of the autonomous vehicle. The control module obtains additional sensor data from one or more additional sensors, the additional sensor data representing at least one of a characteristic of the autonomous vehicle or a characteristic of the environment of the autonomous vehicle, and controls an operation of the light source based on the additional sensor data.

摘要: A vehicle vision system comprises first and second vehicle headlights configured to project first and second light structures into a travel path of the vehicle to illuminate an object in the travel path. The system includes a camera disposed in the vehicle between the first and second headlights to capture images of the object in response to capture signals. The first and second vehicle headlights alternately project the first and second light structures. A system controller synchronizes the capture signals so that images of the object captured by the camera include reflections of the first and second light structures. An image processor can reconstruct a surface geometry of the object based on the reflected first and second light structures.

The method includes the steps of projecting a light pattern towards a projection zone of the ground surface, acquiring an image of the automotive vehicle and the light pattern from an image sensor and providing the acquired image to a user of the automotive vehicle. The projection zone includes at least one of a first virtual rectangle, a second virtual rectangle and/or a third virtual rectangle, defined with respect to a rear point of the carbody, a front point of the carbody and the contact points between the wheels and the ground surface. The invention also provides an automotive lighting device for performing the steps of such a method.

摘要: This disclosure relates to a vehicle camera system. In some examples, the vehicle camera system includes one or more camera components, heat generating electronic components, and a shroud. The shroud is configured to provide structural support for the one or more camera components and configured to facilitate dissipation of heat generated by the heat generating electronic components. In some examples, the shroud includes boundaries at least partially surrounding the heat generating electronic components and defining a heat dissipation path for air flow from at least one air inlet to an air outlet of the shroud, and mounting features for mounting the one or more camera components, in which at least one of the mounting features is defined within a portion of the boundaries defining the heat dissipation path.
