摘要: The present disclosure concerns a lubricant composition including: at least one base oil; and at least two glycerol esters E1 and E2, ester E1 being an ester of glycerol and of a C12-C26 carboxylic acid and ester E2 being an ester of glycerol and of a C4-C10 carboxylic acid. The lubricant composition has good friction properties, and the use thereof promotes fuel savings.

摘要: The disclosure provides (i) a lubricating oil composition including a base oil (A) with a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of 8.2-12.6 mm2/s and a saturated hydrocarbon content of 90% by mass or more, a metallic detergent (B) and a zinc dithiophosphate (C), wherein a content of the metallic detergent (B) is 2.5 mmol or more as a soap content concentration per 100 g of the composition, a phosphorous content is 200-1000 mass ppm, and a base number is 7.5 mg KOH/g or more, and (ii) a lubricating oil composition including the base oil (A), the metallic detergent (B), the zinc dithiophosphate (C) and an amine-based antioxidant (E), wherein a content of the amine-based antioxidant (E) is 0.3% by mass or more in terms of total content of the composition, a base number is 6.5 mg KOH/g or more, and a phosphorous content is 200-1000 mass ppm.

摘要: A low-phosphorus lubricating composition having less than 600 ppm phosphorus, comprising at least 85 weight % of a lubricating base blend, and an additive comprising the following, as weight % of the total composition: (1) an organomolybdenum component comprising: (a) an organomolybdenum complex, and (b) a molybdenum dithiocarbamate, the organomolybdenum component being present at an amount which provides about 400-800 ppm Mo; (2) (iso-octyl-3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) propionate), at about 0.25-1.5%; (3) a dithiocarbamate component comprising (a) methylene-bis-dialkyldithiocarbamate and (b) said molybdenum dithiocarbamate, at a total dithiocarbamate component of about 0.6-1.2%; and (4) an alkylated diphenyl amine, at about 0.5-1.5%.

摘要: A method for improving fuel efficiency and reducing frictional properties while maintaining or improving deposit control, in an engine lubricated with a lubricating oil by using as the lubricating oil a formulated oil. The formulated oil has a composition including from 75 to 95 wt % of lubricating oil base stock including a Group I base stock or a combination of a Group III, Group IV and Group V base stock including from 30 to 35 wt % Group III, 45 to 55 wt % Group IV and 0 to 5 wt % Group V and a friction modifier mixture comprising a polymeric ethoxylated fatty acid ester at from 0.1 to 1.0 wt. % and a mixed glyceride ester at from 0.1 to 1.0 wt. % of the formulated oil. The lubricating engine oils are useful in internal combustion engines including direct injection, gasoline and diesel engines.

摘要: Provided is a lubricating oil composition to be used in an internal combustion engine having a sliding mechanism including a piston ring and a liner, the lubricating oil composition including: a base oil; (A) a poly(meth)acrylate; and (B) an organic molybdenum compound, in which: (A) the poly(meth)acrylate contains a polymer (A1) including a repeating unit derived from a (meth)acrylate represented by the following formula (1) and having a mass-average molecular weight of from 1,000 to 500,000; and a content of (B) the organic molybdenum compound in a total amount of the composition is from 0.01 mass % to 0.2 mass % in terms of a molybdenum atom: wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and X represents a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 60 carbon atoms, or a functional group-containing hydrocarbon group having 1 to 60 carbon atoms.

摘要: The lubricating oil composition according to the present invention is one including a base oil, (A) a substituted hydroxy aromatic carboxylic acid ester derivative represented by at least one of the general formula (I) and the general formula (II), and (B) a heterocyclic compound represented by the general formula (III) or (IV) blended therein, wherein a phosphorus content is 0.06 mass % or less on the basis of a total amount of the composition, and a sulfated ash content is 1.2 mass % or less on the basis of a total amount of the composition. The lubricating oil composition is capable of maintaining high-temperature detergency and acid neutralizing properties, even when amounts of a phosphorus component-containing additive and a metallic detergent are reduced.
