Abstract: A manufacturing method of a modular connector and a lock-in device thereof has the modular connector including an oblong hole at a rear end thereof to be filled with a flexible rubber body but left with an engaging hole in a middle section of the oblong hole, and the lock-in device including a through hole arranged aside which has a clip arranged on a periphery wall thereof with a protruding latch, so that when the modular connector is inserted into the through hole to a per-determined position, the latch would engage the engaging hole for positioning and fixing the engagement.

Abstract: An SFP socket connector is disclosed in this invention. In a socket housing of the SFP socket connector, one row of upper terminal-receiving grooves are located on an inner side of a top wall and extend to a mounting space, and some of the other row thereof are formed between upper support bars and extend to the mounting space. One row of lower terminal-receiving grooves are located on an inner side of a bottom wall and extend to the mounting space, and some of the other row thereof are formed between lower support bars. The shielding case has an upper port aligned with two rows of upper terminal-receiving grooves and a lower port aligned with two rows of lower terminal-receiving grooves. Multiple terminal assemblies are mounted in the socket housing and are arranged side by side in the order of ground-signal-signal.

Abstract: Patch cords are provided that include a communications cable that has at least first through fourth conductors and a plug that is attached to the cable. The plug includes a housing that receives the cable, a printed circuit board, first through fourth plug contacts, and first through fourth conductive paths that connect the first through fourth conductors to the respective first through fourth plug contacts. The first and second conductors, conductive paths, and plug contacts form a first differential transmission line, and the third and fourth conductors, conductive paths, and plug contacts form a second differential transmission line. Each of the first through fourth plug contacts has a first segment that extends longitudinally along a first surface of the printed circuit board, and the signal current injection point into the first segment of at least some of the first through fourth plug contacts is into middle portions of their respective first segments.

Abstract: A metallic contact for insertion into a modular telecommunications plug includes a generally planar body defining a top end, a bottom end, a front end, a rear end, and a length extending from the front end to the rear end. The bottom end is at least partially defined by a blade for piercing an insulation of a wire positioned within the plug. At least a portion of the top end is configured to electrically contact a conductor of a jack that receives the plug. The top end is defined at least in part by a first engagement surface that is separated from a second engagement surface by a notch. An uppermost portion of the first engagement surface defines a first push surface that is generally at the same height as a second push surface defined by an uppermost portion of the second engagement surface. The notch is defined by a front vertical wall spaced from a rear vertical wall, wherein the front vertical wall is positioned at a distance of at least half the length of the contact from the front end of the contact.

Abstract: A connector adapted to be connected to a network device is provided. The network device includes a connection port, and the connection port includes an elastic sheet. A wedging hole is formed on the elastic sheet. The connector includes a connector housing, a sliding element and a rotation element. The connector housing includes a latch. The latch is formed on the connector housing, and is adapted to be wedged into the wedging hole. The sliding element is moved between a first position and a second position along a straight line. When the sliding element is in the first position, the latch wedges into the wedging hole. When the sliding element is in the second position, the sliding element abuts the elastic sheet to separate the latch from the wedging hole. The rotation element is connected to the sliding element.
