摘要: Some embodiments provide a method for associating data message flows from applications executing on a host computer with network interfaces of the computer. The method of some embodiments identifies a set of applications operating on a machine executing on the host computer, identifies candidate teaming policies for associating each identified application with a subset of one or more interfaces, and generates a report to display the identified candidate teaming policies per application to a user. In response to user input selecting a first teaming policy for a first application, the method generates a rule, and distributes the rule, to the host computer to associate the first application with a first subset of the network interfaces specified by the first teaming policy. Similarly, in response to user input selecting a second teaming policy for a second application executing on the machine, the method generates a second rule, and distributes the second rule, to the host computer to associate the second application with a second subset of the network interfaces specified by the second teaming policy.

摘要: An apparatus and method for automatic configuration management of a network are provided. The apparatus and method may provide a virtualization system that has an inventory that includes physical resources and virtual assets managed by a virtualization layer running on the physical resources; wherein virtual assets are software instantiations of computer systems, receive a virtual asset provisioning request that specifies parameters to be considered for the virtual asset provisioning request and receive data on inventory available in the virtualization system. The apparatus and method may automatically provision a particular virtual asset to a particular physical resource in the virtualization system that matches the parameters in the virtual asset provisioning request, assign the provisioned virtual asset to the virtual asset provisioning request and provide user access to the provisioned virtual asset.

摘要: A method comprises receiving, at a system from an application server, a request for a service, the system comprising two or more global session databases, and the request associated with a session; identifying among the two or more global session databases, a first global session database to fulfill the request based on a criteria; storing, by the application server, the session at the first global session database; and transmitting, by the session, data associated with the request for the service in accordance with a configuration table. Additional methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable media or computer program products provide similar or alternative functionality.

摘要: Active-active standby is maintained for communication sessions using web connections between two active session zones and a standby session zone, for example, in the event of a failure. A first load balancer directs system management communications of a first datacenter to a first server of the first datacenter. A second load balancer directs the system management communications during a failure event to a second server. A database controller performs a failover based on the failure event.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for providing failover and load clustering features to one or more proxy servers of a content delivery network (CDN). In one embodiment, one or more proxy servers may announce a virtual host internet protocol (IP) and, to provide a failover feature, two or more of the proxy servers may also announce a more generic virtual network IP address that includes a broader range of IP addresses associated with the virtual network IP address. In another embodiment, each of the proxy servers in communication with the router may announce a generic IP network address to the router. In response to receiving a request for content from an end user of the CDN, the router may select a proxy server and load balance the received requests among the proxy servers.

摘要: A system and method for implementing functionality within a network on behalf of first and second devices communicating with each other through the network. A front-end device is provided within the network that communicates data traffic with the first device. A back-end device is also implemented within the network and communicates data traffic with the second device. A communication channel couples the front-end device and the back-end device. Data traffic may be encoded into a different type or protocol for transport through the communication channel by the front-end device and back-end device. The front-end device and back-end device exchange quality of service information and may alter characteristics of the data traffic through the communication channel according to the quality of service information.

摘要: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving a request to initiate a group communication service (GCS) to wirelessly distribute media content to mobile user equipment within a target geographical region using a common radio channel A performance metric is obtained, in response to the request, for each GCS node. The performance metric is evaluated for each of the GCS nodes and one of the GCS nodes is selected based on the evaluation result. Establishment of GCS is facilitated using the selected GCS node, and a first media content item is disseminated, by way of the GCS, to the mobile user equipment within the target geographical region using the common radio channel. Other embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: A system and method for provisioning a push notification session via a communications network between an application on a client terminal and a server corresponding to the application. In one aspect, a push provisioning entity transmits a message to the client terminal, whereby to configure the client terminal into a state in which it is able to request a push notification session with the server. An application on the client terminal can then request establishment of a push notification session by transmitting a push notification session request message to the push provisioning entity. The push provisioning entity generates a token for use in validating the push notification session, associates the generated token with the application and transmits the token to the application, which uses it to establish the push notification session.

摘要: Technologies are described providing adaptive query routing in a replicated database environment. The technologies can be used with a variety of replication protocols. Prepared statements, such as for queries, from a database client can be routed to a source node, or a source node and available replica nodes, when a replica node becomes unavailable. When a replica node becomes available again, a prepared statement can be updated to indicate that the updated prepared statement can be executed at nodes including the replica node that is available again. Prepared statement routing can also be used when a portion of replicated data becomes unavailable at a replica node, but a portion of replicated data remains available.
