    摘要: There is a strap tension detector for detecting tension in a strap. A housing has an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion and lower portion are adapted to receive the strap. A strain beam is mounted to one of the upper portion and the lower portion. The strain beam is arranged at an angle to the strap to extend across the width of the strap when the strap is placed between the upper portion and the lower portion and extending through the first and second strap-receiving openings so that the strap bears on the strain beam when taut. A strain gauge is operatively connected to detect strain across the strain beam.

    摘要: A calibrated load cell includes a monolithic load beam having a first region, a second region on a distal end of the load beam from the first region for receiving a force from a load, and a third region arranged between the first and second regions, wherein the third region comprises a recess on one side of the load beam. A strain gauge is arranged in the recess for detecting a deformation of the third region from the load and for generating a strain gauge output signal proportional to the deformation of the third region. The load cell also includes a microcontroller arranged in the recess for receiving and processing the strain gauge output signal to produce a load cell output signal that represents the load on a load cell output cable. The microcontroller transforms the strain gauge output signal based on calibration parameters to produce the load cell output signal as a calibrated load cell output signal.

    摘要: A sensor system includes a sensor element, a signal processing circuit, and a pseudo-signal correction circuit. The sensor element outputs an electric signal corresponding to an external force. The signal processing circuit converts the electric signal coming from the sensor element into a signal having a certain signal format and then outputs the signal thus converted. The pseudo-signal correction circuit corrects a pseudo-signal outputted by the sensor element. When receiving a test signal, the sensor element performs a self-diagnosis based on the test signal and then outputs the pseudo-signal, which represents a result of the self-diagnosis. The pseudo-signal correction circuit corrects the pseudo-signal based on environment information about an environment where at least one of the sensor element or the signal processing circuit is located.

    摘要: An apparatus for calibrating a rotational tool includes a communications interface configured to establish a wireless communications link between a rotational tool and a calibrator to communicate one of a tool torque measurement or a calibrator torque measurement via the communications link. The apparatus may further include calibration processing circuitry configured to receive the tool torque measurement measured by a tool torque sensor, and receive the calibrator torque measurement measured by a calibrator torque sensor. The calibration processing circuitry may also be configured to compare the tool torque measurement to the calibrator torque measurement to determine a difference value, aggregate the difference value with previously determined difference values to determine an updated torque calibration factor, and cause a torque calibration factor associated with a torque sensor of the rotational tool to be automatically replaced with the updated torque calibration factor in the memory of the rotational tool.
