Abstract: A vehicular electrical braking device equipped with a control means for driving an electric motor and a lock mechanism, the electric motor pressing a friction member against a rotary member, and the lock mechanism applying parking brake. The control means comprises steps of: calculating an instruction pressure force on the basis of the amount of brake operation; calculating a parking pressure force on the basis of a parking signal; determining as a target pressure force the greater one of the instruction pressure force and the parking pressure force; adjusting the amount of power to be applied to the electrical motor such that an actual pressure force matches the target pressure force on the basis of the target pressure force and the actual pressure force; and controlling the operation of the lock mechanism on the basis of the actual pressure force.

Abstract: A travel control device includes a first arithmetic unit configured to calculate a target moment, that is, a turning moment necessary for causing a vehicle to turn and move along a target path from a current position to a target position; a second arithmetic unit configured to calculate a limit moment, that is, a maximum turning moment which can be generated by a steering mechanism of the vehicle by the time the vehicle reaches the target position from the current position, while taking into account at least response delays of the vehicle; and an output unit configured to output brake commands for causing brake devices, which are respectively disposed so as to correspond to multiple wheels of the vehicle, to independently generate a braking force when the target moment is greater than the limit moment such that an insufficient moment corresponding to the difference between the target moment and the limit moment is generated.

Abstract: A braking control device for imparting brake fluid pressure on wheel cylinders in response to operation of a braking operation member to produce braking force includes: first and second fluid pressure units for imparting brake fluid pressure by first and second power sources respectively; and a determining device for determining whether or not operation of the first fluid pressure unit is appropriate. When the determining device determines that operation is appropriate, the first fluid pressure unit imparts brake fluid pressure based on a suitability characteristic, which is the relationship between the brake fluid pressure and the braking operation member operation amount, set in advance. The second fluid pressure unit has proximity characteristics, generally matching the suitability characteristic, and notification characteristics, different from the suitability characteristic. When operation of the first fluid pressure unit is not appropriate, the second fluid pressure unit imparts brake fluid pressure based on the proximity or notification characteristics.

Abstract: A vehicle braking system is provided with: a driving motor that can apply a regenerative braking force to a wheel; a friction braking device that is operated so as to apply a friction braking force to the wheel; and a braking control device. The braking control device controls the friction braking device on the basis of the detected value of a wheel speed when the detected value of the wheel speed of the wheel based on an output signal from each of wheel speed sensors SE5-SE8 can be acquired, and, when the detected value of the wheel speed cannot be acquired, acquires the estimated value of the wheel speed of the wheel on the basis of the rotational speed of the driving motor and controls the friction braking device on the basis of the estimated value of the wheel speed.

Abstract: A collision avoidance device includes a collision avoidance executor, a determiner, and a collision avoidance controller, for example. The collision avoidance executor can execute a collision avoidance function for a vehicle to avoid collision with an object to be avoided. The determiner determines, based on an operation of an accelerator pedal by a driver, whether the driver has an intention of acceleration. The collision avoidance controller inhibits execution of the collision avoidance function when the driver is determined to have the intention of acceleration. The determiner further determines, based on the operation of the accelerator pedal, whether the driver has an intention of cancelation of the collision avoidance function. The collision avoidance controller ends the execution of the collision avoidance function when the driver is determined to have the intention of cancelation during the execution of the collision avoidance function.

Abstract: The braking control device generates braking force by operating an electric motor to press a friction member against a wheel-fixed rotary member. The braking control device includes: a wheel speed sensor detecting wheel speed; a rotation angle sensor detecting a motor rotation angle; a drive circuit driving the motor; and a controller controlling the drive circuit. The controller sets a current limit circle within d-axis/q-axis current characteristics of the motor based on specifications of the drive circuit, calculates a voltage limit circle within the d-axis/q-axis current characteristics based on the rotation angle, executes slip suppression control for reducing the degree of wheel slip based on the wheel speed, calculates d-axis and q-axis target current values based on intersection points of the current limit circle and the voltage limit circle when execution of slip suppression control begins, and controls the drive circuit based on the d-axis and q-axis target current values.
