Abstract:
A method of maintaining diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration for improving durability of a DPF, may include determining, by a controller, whether a vehicle enters an idle state during the DPF regeneration, controlling, by the controller, a concentration of oxygen introduced into the DPF to be equal to or less than a first reference value when the vehicle enters the idle state, and performing, by the controller, a regeneration process until a soot mass in the DPF may be equal to or less than a target reference value.
Abstract:
An airbag device for a vehicle may include a main vent hole disposed in an airbag cushion and emit expansion gas therein, a cover disposed on an outer side of the airbag cushion, to be switched between an opened state and a closed state, by a tension force applied thereto, and provided with an auxiliary vent hole through which the expansion gas inside the airbag cushion may be emitted, a tether having a first one end connected to the cover through the main vent hole and a second end fixed inside the airbag cushion to provide the tension force to the cover, and a tether guide disposed on an inner side of the airbag cushion to support the tether and make the tether pass therethrough while being slid on the inner side of the airbag cushion.
Abstract:
A leg rest device may a first link member rotatably installed in a front of a seat frame, a second link member installed on a leg plate for supporting legs of a passenger and connected to the first link member to be movable along a longitudinal direction of the first link member, a guide member, one end of which is installed in the seat frame to be rotatable together with the first link member and the other end of which is connected to the second link member to be movable along a longitudinal direction of the second link member, and a driving portion installed in the seat frame. The driving portion, when operating, provides power for the first link member to be rotated, and allows the second link member to be rotated and simultaneously to be moved in the longitudinal direction of the first link member as the guide member is rotated together with the first link member.
Abstract:
A bumper stiffener apparatus for a vehicle may include an upper member connected to a radiator grill, a lower member connected to a bumper below the upper member, a support bar connecting the upper member and the lower member, a hinge mechanism connected to the support bar, and a guide bracket fixed to a back beam arranged on a rear of the lower member to be connected to the hinge mechanism and in which a guide passage is formed for guiding an upward movement of the hinge mechanism when the lower member moves rearward.
Abstract:
A shift control method for a dual clutch transmission (DCT) vehicle may include, performed by a controller of the DCT, an actual shift determining step, a cooperation control termination determining step, a flare determining step, an engine torque reducing step, a torque adding step, an engine torque raising step, and a shift finishing step of reducing an amount of reduction of the engine torque until synchronization is completed in proportion to a synchronization prediction time in which it takes an engine speed to reach a synchronization speed when the synchronization prediction time is smaller than a reference time during which the torque adding step and the engine torque raising step are performed, and having slip control over an engagement-side clutch.
Abstract:
A gear-shift lever module with various sensors integrated on one circuit board may include a module housing, the integrated circuit board disposed in the module housing, a position sensor, a manual mode switch and a connector. The position sensor senses a shift position of a gear-shift lever and is disposed on the integrated circuit board at a position corresponding to a hinge portion at a lower end of the gear-shift lever. The manual mode switch is disposed on the integrated circuit board at a position corresponding to a manual mode of the gear-shift lever and senses the manual mode by being pressed by the gear-shift lever when the gear-shift lever is positioned for the manual mode. The connector is electrically connected with the position sensor and the manual mode switch.
Abstract:
An apparatus for opening and closing a trunk for a vehicle, may include a motor unit equipped with a motor, an inner tube provided outside the motor unit to surround the motor unit, with a plurality of protrusions protruding from an outer circumference of the inner tube, an outer tube provided outside the inner tube to surround the inner tube and including a threaded groove being indented along an inner circumference of the outer tube, a bar-shaped spindle having a threaded portion on an outer circumference thereof, and coupled to the motor unit to cause the threaded portion of the spindle to engage with the threaded groove of the outer tube when the motor may be rotated, thus allowing the spindle to perform translation simultaneously with rotation, and an elastic member-wound on an outer circumference of the outer tube.
Abstract:
A method of searching for a sync start in an automated manual transmission, may include a slip preparing step of operating, in a parked position, a sleeve and a clutch restrained so as not to rotate into a slip state, an actuator operating step of moving the sleeve toward a clutch gear from a neutral position, a clutch speed determination step of determining whether or not a speed of rotation of the clutch has decreased by the actuator operating step, a stop determination step of determining whether or not a movement of the sleeve that was driven by the actuator operating step has stopped, and a first position determination step of determining a point where the clutch speed determination step determines that the speed of the rotation of the clutch has decreased and the stop determination step determines that the movement of the sleeve has stopped as the sync start.
Abstract:
A headrest apparatus for an MPV includes a headrest that can be automatically completely housed in a storage space in such a way as to slide without requiring a user to perform an additional operation of pushing the headrest downwards, thus being more convenient for the user. The headrest apparatus has a simple structure and a reduced size, thus reducing the weight of the vehicle. The headrest apparatus includes a headrest sliding unit, a sinking seat folding unit, and a seat support frame supporting a sinking seat on a floor of the MPV, wherein, when the sinking seat is housed in a seat storage space formed in the floor of the MPV, the upper surface of the sinking seat that is in a housed state is level with the upper surface of the floor of the MPV.
