Abstract:
A pressure tank includes a liner separated into a cap and a main body. A shell covers the outer surface of the liner. The shell is formed of a fiber reinforced plastic. A heat exchanger is arranged in the liner. A header is connected to the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is supported on the liner by fastening the header to the cap or the main body.
Abstract:
A pressure vessel arranging and integrating a plurality of vessel structures each including a cylindrical liner opened at both ends and a fiber reinforced resin layer covering the outer periphery of the peripheral wall of the liner. Dome-shaped communicating members bulging outward are fixed across both respective ends of the liners of the vessel structures, thereby making the interiors of these liners communicate with each other and closing the open ends of these liners. This pressure vessel can be installed with no wasted space, and also allows an increase in capacity.
Abstract:
A high-speed bulk filling tank truck is provided, which permits reduction of the filling time. The high-speed bulk filling tank truck delivers a liquefied gas in a truck tank to a bulk storage tank, and recovers a gas-phase gas in the bulk storage tank into the truck tank, thereby filling the bulk storage tank with the liquefied gas. The high-speed bulk filling tank truck includes a liquid feed pump, provided on a liquid line through which the liquefied gas flows, for feeding the liquefied gas in the truck tank to the bulk storage tank, and a gas compressor, provided on the gas line through which a gas-phase gas flows, for compressing the gas-phase gas in the bulk storage tank and delivering the same into the truck tank.
Abstract:
A storage tank having an inner vessel suspended within the outer vessel. One or more stiffening members support portions of the outer vessel. The use of the stiffening members limits deformation of the outer vessel due to the suspension of the inner vessel therein.
Abstract:
A storage tank having an inner vessel disposed within an outer vessel. A common-access tube or conduit is used to route the various fluid flow lines into the interior of the inner vessel. The common-access tube facilitates modular construction and assembly of the storage tank.
Abstract:
A high pressure tank has a cylindrical liner and a fiber reinforced plastic layer which covers the outer surface of the liner. At least one end of the liner is separable. The liner includes a cylindrical liner body and a lid. An O-ring is located between the contact surfaces of the liner body and the lid in the circumferential direction. Each contact surface has a seal surface which contacts the O-ring. One of the liner body and the lid has a deformable portion which deforms toward the seal surfaces. The structure can securely seal the separated portions of the liner when the high pressure tank is in a high pressure state.
Abstract:
There is provided a system comprising an assembly for storage or transport of compressed gas on a floating structure (1), wherein the assem+y (3) comprises a plurality of separate, parallel, laying pipes (4) which are closed at both ends and are supported discretely or continuously by a supporting structure (5). The pipes (4) are releaseably attached to the supporting structure (5) only at one end thereof, where the pipes are coupled to a manifold system (˜) for filling or emptying of the pipes, and the supporting structure (5) is arranged to allow unobstructed longitudinal guiding of the pipes (4) in the storage assembly (3), so that the pipes individually or in groups can be introduced to or removed from their operating position in the storage assem+y via openings at the ends of the assem+y located oppositely to said one end. There is also provided a method for installation of pipes on a floating structure having such a storage assem+y, wherein the individual pipes (4) are provided on a production plant and are guided therefrom into the storage assembly, the floating structure being ballasted to a desired draft so that the relevant pipes can be guided directly into the correct position in the storage assembly.
Abstract:
A system for processing and transporting compressed natural gas having a separator for separating the pressurized high-energy content gas into saturated gas and liquids; a decontamination unit for removing impurities from the saturated gas to create a decontaminated saturated gas; a dehydration unit for dehydrating the decontaminated saturated gas to remove water forming a dry pressurized gas; a chiller for cooling the dry pressurized gas cooled from ambient temperature to between −80 Fahrenheit and −120 Fahrenheit forming a two-phase gas; a floating vessel; at least one storage module located on the floating vessel that maintains a pressure ranging from 800 psi and 1200 psi; and wherein the floating vessel transports at least one storage module a distance ranging between 500 nautical miles and 2500 nautical miles and utilizes the vapor phase during transit to power the floating vessel.
Abstract:
A cryogenic fluid storage/processing system which includes a cement box in which is positioned a multiplicity of tanks arranged parallel in one or more layers and surrounded by perlite insulation, and in which is positioned a pump for filling/emptying the tanks. A vaporizer the vaporizing the tank contents is mounted on or adjacent to the box.
Abstract:
A delivery vehicle for delivering liquids to a storage location and a liquid delivery control system therefor. The apparatus comprises manual and remote actuation of a clutch controller for engaging and disengaging a clutch of the vehicle, remote and manual actuation of a throttle controller for opening and closing a throttle of the vehicle, actuation of a power take-off controller for engaging and disengaging a power take-off on the vehicle, and actuation of a valve controller for opening and closing an internal flow valve in a cargo tank on the vehicle. The apparatus also may include actuation of a reel controller for unwinding a liquid delivery hose from a reel and rewinding the hose on the reel. A method of delivering a liquid to a storage location is also disclosed.
