    Abstract: A bootstrap gate driver including a load indication unit, a bootstrap gate-drive unit and a drive-control unit is provided. The load indication unit is configured to generate a load indication signal in response to a state of a load. The bootstrap gate-drive unit is configured to drive a switch-transistor circuit in response to an inputted pulse-width-modulation (PWM) signal, wherein the switch-transistor circuit has a high-side driving path and a low-side driving path. The drive-control unit is coupled to the load indication unit and the bootstrap gate-drive unit, and configured to enable or disable the high-side driving path in response to the load indication signal. In the invention, the operation of the low-side driving path is not affected by enabling or disabling the high-side driving path.

    Abstract: The aspects enable a processor to concurrently execute markup language code (e.g., HTML) having embedded scripting language code (e.g., JavaScript®) during a page load operation by a browser. A markup language parser parses markup language code until embedded scripting language code is encountered. The segment of embedded scripting language code is extracted for execution by a scripting language engine which proceeds concurrently with speculative parsing of the markup language code. Markup language code generated by execution of scripting language code is evaluated to determine if it is well formed, and a partial rollback of the markup language parse and re-parsing of portions of the markup language code is accomplished if not. Concurrent parsing of markup language code and execution of scripting language code, with partial roll back of the parsing process when necessary, continues until all markup language code has been parsed and all scripting language code has been executed.

    Abstract: A testing method for a fan module is provided. When the fan module is tested, a testing computer sends a testing command to a testing device first. Then, the testing device responds to the testing command and controls the fan module to work in a plurality of rotational speed modes in sequence. The testing device reads an actual rotational speed when the fan module works in one of the rotational speed modes and sends the actual rotational speed back to the testing computer. The testing computer compares the actual rotational speed with a corresponding reference rotational speed value stored in the testing computer, and determines the testing result. Finally, the testing result is shown.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a multilayer cellulose ester film having a reversed optical dispersion. The film can have an A-B bi-layer or an A-B-A tri-layer configuration. The cellulose ester material for layer A has a hydroxyl degree of substitution (DSOH) from 0 to 0.5, while the cellulose ester material for layer B has a DSOH from 0.5 to 1.3. By manipulating the thickness of layers A and B, and the film stretching conditions, desirable optical retardation and optical dispersion properties can be obtained. The film can be used as an optical waveplate in liquid crystal displays to improve viewing angle, contrast ratio, and color shift.
