Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method of blocking network access in user equipment (UE). The method may include the steps of: receiving application attribute related information at a home public land mobile network (HPLMN); receiving application specific congestion control for data communication (ACDC) blocking information at the HPLMN or a visited PLMN (VPLMN); determining the category of an application being executed based on the application attribute related information when there is information on the application being executed in the application attribute related information; and performing an ACDC blocking check based on matched ACDC blocking information when the ACDC blocking information is matched with the determined category from among the ACDC blocking information.
Abstract:
Provided in one disclosure of the present specification is a method for relaying a proximity service-based group communication by user equipment (UE) which can operate as a repeater. The method comprises the steps of: confirming whether downlink media of a plurality of group communications is transmitted from a network node according to a multimedia broadcast/multicast service (MBMS) technique; determining whether all of the downlink media of the plurality of group communications can be received according to the MBMS technique; determining a specific group communication of which the downlink media is to be received according to the MBMS technique, based on priority among the group communications and the number of relayed UEs, when all of the downlink media of the plurality of group communications cannot be received according to the MBMS technique; and receiving, according to the MBMS technique, the downlink media of the specific group communication which has been determined and relaying same.
Abstract:
A method is provided for performing network selection and traffic routing. A user equipment (UE) receives an Access Network Discovery and Selection Function (ANDSF) rule including an Inter-System Routing Policy (ISRP) rule or an Inter-Access Point Name (Inter-APN) Routing Policy (IARP) rule. The UE receives, from a base station, radio access network (RAN) assistance information. The RAN assistance information received from the base station is used to evaluate the ISRP rule or the IARP rule of the ANDSF rule. The UE evaluates whether the ISRP rule or the IARP rule of the ANDSF rule is valid or not by using the RAN assistance information. The UE selects one of the RAN assistance information and the ANDSF rule including the ISRP rule or the IARP rule.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a communication method and a base station, the communication method comprising: receiving, from a network entity, a message including context capability information and context type information of a terminal; transmitting, to the terminal, a context request message requesting the transmission of particular context information among the context information supported by the terminal; receiving, from the terminal, a context response message including the context information of the terminal; and changing configuration values of radio resources on the basis of the context information.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for controlling a relay of relay user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. Specifically, the method comprises the steps of: announcing information on whether the relay UE can be relayed; and controlling the relay by comparing updated information with reference information according to a new relay request, wherein the reference information is set to be changed on the basis of state information of the relay UE and/or a packet data network (PDN) connection related to the relay.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present specification provides a method comprising the steps of: transferring, by an access stratum (AS) layer of a user device, information on a communication state with another user device to an upper layer through a non-access stratum (NAS) layer, while the user device communicates with the other user device through a direct communication path; receiving, by the NAS layer, a notification on a change of the communication path from the upper layer; commanding, by the NAS layer, the AS layer to perform a radio resource control (RRC) connection procedure in a request type (call type) which indicates the purpose of service continuity in accordance with the change of the communication path; and transmitting, by the AS layer, an RRC connection request message including a connection request type (establishment cause) which indicates the purpose of the service continuity of the proximity service to a base station.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a network access blocking method performed by a user equipment. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving application specific congestion control for data communication (ACDC) blocking information and access class barring (ACB) blocking information; determining the category of an application being executed according to a network access attempt by the application; performing an ACDC blocking check on the basis of the determined category and the received ACDC blocking information. Here, when the network access attempt by the application is not blocked as a result of the ACDC blocking check, an ACB blocking check on the basis of the ACB blocking information may be skipped.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for obtaining policy information for traffic offload. The method may be performed by user equipment and comprise: receiving, through an Access Point (AP), HotSpot 2.0-related policy information including policy information related to a roaming consortium concluded between Access Point (AP) service providers; checking whether previously received 3GPP-based policy information or configuration information is present; and if there is a conflict, transmitting a policy information request message including the received HotSpot 2.0-related policy information, to a 3GPP-based network node in order to obtain 3GPP-based policy information into which the received HotSpot 2.0-related policy information has been reflected.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for user equipment deactivating an idle mode signaling reduction (ISR) capability for a proximity service. The method for deactivating the ISR capability comprises the steps of: the user equipment activating ISR as a result of performing a routing area update (RAU) process or a tracking area update (TAU) process; the user equipment determining whether to deactivate the ISR for the proximity service; and the user equipment locally deactivating the activated ISR depending on the determination result.
Abstract:
There is provided a method for a network fault recovery. The method may be performed by a policy and charging rule function (PCRF) node and comprise: transmitting, to a traffic detection function (TDF), a first request for monitoring a session initiation protocol (SIP) based signal to be routed over a first internet protocol (IP) version based network, if a fault of the first IP version-based network is detected; receiving, from the TDF, a report indicating that the SIP based signal is detected; transmitting a first indication for initiating a IP connectivity access network (IP-CAN) session termination procedure to a packet data network gateway (P-GW). Here, the first indication may include a cause value indicating a reactivation is requested such that the P-GW enables a user equipment (UE) to perform a detach procedure and then a reattach procedure.
