    Abstract: A left atrial appendage closure implant may include a support frame including a first bend extending from a proximal collar to a second bend, a first segment extending from the second bend to a third bend, a second segment extending from the third bend to a fourth bend, and a third segment extending from the fourth bend to a distal collar, wherein the support frame is actuatable from a first constrained position to a second flowering position to a third mid-deployment position to a fourth unconstrained position. An implant may include a self-expanding support frame having a circumference and a central longitudinal axis, a membrane disposed over at least a portion of the support frame, and a plurality of anchors arranged into a first row and a second row such that the first row and the second row form a staggered pattern about the circumference of the support frame.

    Abstract: Laser systems and methods are disclosed. One laser system comprises: a plurality of laser resonators, each resonator being operable to discharge an input laser beam; a relay assembly including at least one curved reflective surface that redirects each input laser beam, and reduces a beam size of the redirected beam; a galvo including a curved reflective surface that receives each redirected beam, and outputs a combined laser beam at power level greater than a power level of each laser input beam; and a coupling assembly that reduces spherical aberrations in the combined laser beam, and directs the combined laser beam into an optical fiber. In this system, the combined laser beam may have a maximum beam parameter product lower than a minimum beam parameter product of the optical fiber. Related systems and methods are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A retrieval device attachable to a scope includes a handle which has an attachment portion configured to couple the handle to the scope; a shaft coupled to the handle having a wire immovably coupled to the handle; and a sheath movable relative to the handle over the wire between a distal position and a proximal position via an actuator of the handle. The actuator actuates a slider assembly of the handle. The slider assembly is coupled to the sheath and movable relative to the attachment portion to move the sheath and an expandable end effector coupled to the distal end of the wire. The end effector is movable between a collapsed configuration when the sheath is moved distally to the distal position to cover the end effector and an expanded configuration when the sheath is moved proximally to the proximal position, uncovering the end effector.

    Abstract: A device includes a clip including a capsule and a pair of clip arms, proximal ends of which are slidably received within a channel of the capsule to move the clip arms between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The clip arms are aligned relative to one another via a pin received within openings extending through proximal ends of the clip arms. A proximal portion includes a flexible shaft extending from a proximal end to a distal end including a bushing releasably coupled to the capsule. A control member extends longitudinally through the flexible shaft from a proximal end to a distal end releasably coupled to the proximal ends of the clip arms, the distal end of the control member including a pair of holding jaws, each of which include a pair of fingers extending about the pin along opposing sides thereof to grip the pin therebetween.

    Abstract: An end effector having first and second jaws movable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. At least one jaw has a tissue-engaging surface contoured to enhance grasping of tissue between the jaws.
