摘要: A generally spherical turbine configured to rotate transversely within a cylindrical pipe under the power of fluid flowing either direction therethrough is operatively coupled with a rotating machine or generator to produce electricity. In one embodiment, the blades of the spherical turbine curve in an approximately 180 degree arc in a plane that is at an inclined angle relative to the rotational axis of a central shaft. In another embodiment, a deflector is provided upstream of the spherical turbine and within the cylindrical pipe to control flow through the spherical turbine by shielding a part thereof. The blades of the spherical turbine are airfoil in cross section to optimize hydrodynamic flow, to minimize cavitation, and to maximize conversion from axial to rotating energy.

摘要: Systems and method for producing graphene on a substrate are described. Certain types of exemplar systems include lateral arrangements of a substrate gas scavenging environment and an annealing environment. Certain other types of exemplar systems include lateral arrangements of a graphene producing environment and a cooling environment, which cools the graphene produced on the substrate. Yet other types of exemplar systems include lateral arrangements of a localized annealing environment, localized graphene producing environment and a localized cooling environment inside the same enclosure.
Certain type of exemplar methods for producing graphene on a substrate include scavenging a first portion of the substrate and preferably, contemporaneously annealing a second portion of the substrate. Certain other type of exemplar methods for producing graphene include novel annealing techniques and/or implementing temperature profiles and gas flow rate profiles that vary as a function of lateral distance and/or cooling graphene after producing it.

摘要: The present invention discloses a photoresist-removing solution comprising of an N-containing compound and an organic substance in a mass ratio of 1:(0.5-150). The N-containing compound includes at least one of the followings: tetraalkylammonium hydroxide, ammonia, liquid ammonia, and a mixture of ammonia and water; wherein the tetraalkylammonium hydroxide has the general formula (I): wherein R1, R2, R3, R4 is an alkyl with 1 to 4 carbons, respectively. The organic substance is an organic substance having at least one electron-withdrawing functional group. The present invention mixes a specific kind of N-containing compound and a specific kind of organic substance in a certain ratio, and preferably adds a certain amount of water, so that the removal liquid in the present application has an extremely excellent photoresist-removing effect.

摘要: A semiconductor processing apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a body portion, which includes at least one semiconductor processing unit. Each semiconductor processing unit includes a recess formed on an upper surface of the body portion, wherein a bottom surface of the recess has at least one location and a peripheral. The bottom surface ascends from the at least one location toward the peripheral against a direction of gravity or descends from the at least one location toward the peripheral following the direction of gravity. Each semiconductor processing unit also includes a first channel that connects to the recess at the at least one location, as well as at least one second channel connecting to the recess at the peripheral. Each of the first channel and the at least one second channel serves as an inlet or an outlet via which a fluid enters or exits the recess. A method according to the present disclosure may control a flowing direction of a fluid flowing across a substrate surface. When the fluid flow as programmed, the fluid may contact the substrate surface and process the surface via various physical and/or chemical reactions.

摘要: Fluid stream management systems and methods relating thereto are described. The fluid management system includes a neural network, which comprises: (i) an input layer that is communicatively coupled to one or more fluid facility sensors and/or one or more pre-processing flow sensors such that one or more of the flow condition attribute values are received the neural network; (ii) one or more intermediate layers, which are configured to constrain one or more of the flow condition attribute values to arrive at modified flow condition attribute values; (iii) an output layer, which transmits, one or more modified flow condition attribute values to a downstream control device. This control device and other computation devices perform certain calculations that ultimately inform a flow controller, which in turn, instructs a flow-directing device regarding management of fluid streams.
