The present invention relates to a copper-containing formulation for plant disease-control which comprises divalent copper and polyphosphate residues, wherein the amount of the polyphosphate residues per one chemical equivalent of the divalent copper is higher than one chemical equivalent. The copper-containing formulation of the present invention shows an excellent disease-control effect without causing any chemical injury of the plant.

A surface acoustic wave device has a piezoelectric substrate whose properties include electromechanical coupling coefficient advantageous to widening passband width and SAW velocity advantageous to achieving a compact surface acoustic wave device. The piezoelectric substrate is composed of the single crystal represented by chemical formula Sr3TaGa3Si2O14 belonging to point group 32. For example, cut angle of the single crystal and propagation direction of the surface acoustic wave are in region 1-1, wherein said region 1-1 represented by Euler angles (&phgr;, &thgr;, &psgr;) satisfies &phgr;=25° ˜35°, &thgr;=20° ˜90°, &psgr;=−40° ˜40°. A thin film layered member having high heat dissipation efficiency is composed of at least two diamond layers and at least one interlayer. The diamond layers and the interlayer ape alternately laminated and the diamond layers form outer surfaces of the thin film layered member. When this member is applied to a heatsink or the like, thermal stress to an element mounted thereon can be reduced because of a laminated structure comprising an interlayer having a high coefficient of thermal expansion and diamond layers having a low coefficient of thermal expansion. Further, the interlayer includes a carbide forming metal, which reacts with carbon atoms constituting a diamond in a laminating process and to form a carbide at an interface between the interlayer and the diamond layer, thereby realizing strong bonding therebetween.

The substrate 2 comprises a base substrate 10 composed of a garnet-based single crystal being unstable with a flux used for the liquid phase epitaxial growth; a buffer layer 11a composed of a garnet-based single crystal thin film formed on a crystal growing surface 10a of said base substrate 10 and being stable with said flux; and a protective layer 11b formed at least on side surfaces 10b of said base substrate 10 crossing with said crystal growing surface of said base substrate 10 and being stable with said flux. By using the substrate, a high quality magnetic garnet single crystal film can be produced. The magnetic garnet single crystal film is used as an optical element, such as a Faraday element, used for an optical isolator, optical circulator and magneto-optical sensor, etc.

A wire harness consists of electrical wires, a first resin sheet and a second resin sheet. The first resin sheet includes a recess formed so as to extend along a predetermined "three-dimensional" wiring route of the electrical wires. In order to manufacture the wire harness, at first, the recess is formed in the first resin sheet. Then, the electrical wires are arranged in the recess. Next, the second resin sheet is arranged on the first resin sheet so as to cover the recess and air contained in a space defined between the first resin sheet and the second resin sheet is sucked to the outside. Finally, the first resin sheet and the second resin sheet are joined to each other. Owing to the provision of the three-dimensional recess, it is possible to realize the wire harness having a three-dimensional configuration following to the actual wiring route of the electrical wires, so that the assembling property can be improved.
